I was shocked to see our pass defense is 10thl eague right now. That's for sure gonna change after Sunday but it's a good sign considering we almost used all our picks on the secondary this year.

I honestly think the team just got lucky with the Thomas trade. We don't see many in-season trades anyway.

Yeah, but that was the idea of moving the trade deadline back to mid-season last year, to initiate more trades.

Bridgewater might not even be the best QB in this class.  Nobody knows how this guy will play under pressure or against a real defense.  Outside from the Gators game he hasn't been challenged.  I hope we win as many games as possible.

It just shows you it doesn't matter where you pick you QB as long as you hit and this class is deep.  Most of those 1st overall picks wasn't even the best QB in their class.  I do think Teddy will be good but I don't think he will be in that top tier list.

I can't remember if he had a prior concussion. Seems like he did - but I can't recall. 

 

Looked it up  -  Lowery was tested for concussion in 2011.  Held out of practice - but played in the next game. Last year was a foot/ankle injury that held him out around 4 weeks( I think. )

 

Those kind of things are common when you put a guy with a corner's body in at safety.

We got Lowery for a 7th rounder, and he has proceeded to finish every season on IR since then. I like him a lot, but unfortunately his trade value was/is zero.
