The Elephant In The Room That Nobody Is Talking About.

Quote:You know how earlier FBT said your original post in this thread set the bar for ignorance (and I'll add idiocy) from you? Look at all his posts. He's just trolling. Don't take the bait. Quote: #STANDUNITED LOL.Your screen-name finally makes sense to me.... ...the Jags have destroyed your ability to reason. Quote:This is the main reason that I question his judgment. That kid wouldn't get a sniff at any other NFL franchise, and here he's a major influence. He doesn't know crap about football, or sports.THIS is the kind of stuff I'm looking for when I check out this board! So much comedy. So much ignorance. So much - can you believe that! Have you looked at the personnel listings of most NFL teams? If the owner has a son, he's on the list. It's called being in the family business. Do you live in a cave? Check out politics. Practically everyone running, it seems, is the son or daughter of someone who previously held the position for years. I hate to tell you this, but Shad Khan's not going to live forever. Who do think is being groomed to be the Jaguars owner when he dies or is taken to a home in Illinois somewhere?
The sun's not yellow, it's chicken.
Quote:Some people seem to think that I only posted this thread because of my frustration with the team, when in fact I am being completely serious about this topic. I personally don't trust Shad, and I think that it was a huge mistake to sell it to someone who was born outside of Jacksonville, let alone the United States. I understand that rebuilding takes time, but lets face the facts here. The Jags have been getting progressively worse each year since 2011 and Khan has done very little to address the teams issues outside of the occasional PR campaign here and there. You have posted nothing that he has done that should sincerely make you not trust him...not that he cares. You seem to have a problem with being paranoid. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:He's more likely to move the team to London than to LA...if he were to move it. The point is he could move the team and the increase in capital value of the team would far outweigh what it would cost him to pay off the lease to the city of Jacksonville. He could move it to San Antonio, Toronto, Las Vegas or Memphis. I would highly suspect any city wanting an NFL football team would kick in the money to buy out the Jaguar's lease at Everbank. People who think the lease is preventing him from moving, if he so chooses, are fooling themselves. Regards.....................the Chiefjag

That would make them public record...the NFL does not want that. Its not really a matter of money to me, its the NFL showing their hand to the union.

I believe his obligation in the lease is to make the lease payments. As long as he's making the lease payment he is not in default of the lease thereby keeping his books to himself. The 3-year loss clause is only if he's breaking the lease. Regards.......................the Chiefjag
I think the likelihood of this team being here 25 years from now is VERY low.

Money makes money and when you're talking 3.8 billion net worth, what was spent on the stadium upgrades or buying out the lease wouldn't even make Khan blink, especially when the Jag's worth would double after a move. What's concerning is the Fulham fans are saying the exact same thing, he refuses to shell out for impact players. I think his goal was just to belong to one of the most exclusive fraternities in the world (nfl/premiership owners), not so much about fielding championship (or even competitive in our case) teams. Then flip these clubs for profit down the road.

I don't know about having him figured out, but that's my opinion, it's sort of what forums are used for. What's your function here, besides snarky quips?
It's the illuminati!!! They've been calling us the London Jaguars since 1998! Everything is going exactly to plan.
Also - the Egyptian pyramids were totally built by aliens and man never walked on the moon.

Quote:There it is, straight up bigotry, you are IMO a bigot. There is a segment of the population that will never "trust" Khan. He will never win them over.
