The teams with great defenses he played were FSU twice, SC twice, VT, and LSU 

He was terrible in all those games besides LSU where he was ok nothing great I mean he throw 50 passes and ran 22 times, didnt make mistakes

BC also has solid defense and he was very avg. in that game, Boyd made is states piling up on bad defense ACC teams, and dont say Ohio st, that defense was bad 

 

Ohio State's defenses is not BAD by college football standards.

 

Wow, 346 Yds and 2 TDs = "ok"

 

You are difficult to impress.  Even if he did "pile up on bad defenses", he did more than most QBs did in the entire nation.  He also broke records over the span of a career.  If you want consistency, he has been that over the long haul.

I said that was what I thought, before I had started any evaluations on the class. I was also the first person I know of to completely jump off the Boyd train. The fantastic LSU bowl game that got his stock that high in the first place was such an outlier after looking at more of him.
