JJ Watt is making an extraordinary difference in raising funds and awareness for people needing help from Hurricane Harvey.   Watt is a HOF caliber player.  Yet,  an even better person and leader!

The Texans-Cowboys pre-season game that was moved to ATT Stadium in Arlington, TX. has been cancelled in order for the Texans to be able to focus on their families and overall more important needs back home.

Whatever decision is made for the Jaguars-Texans season opener in terms of where and when it will be played, I hope it's one that works out for the best for both teams and for others affected by Hurricane Harvey.

While my heart goes out to everyone affected by this storm and flooding (I have close friends leaving their homes as I type this) I really hope the Jags rain on the tinhorns' parade in week one.

Seriously - I'd be thrilled to see the Jags pull out an upset on September 10th, and I also pray for the safety of all of those struggling in south Texas.
