LOL. Trumpler is just a typical guy, At least he apologized! You don't need a safe space too when someone's opinion differs from yours do you? Or are you going to go all Anchorman on me and call me a jort wearing mullet sporting hater? haha. I love this board.

Coughlin could make it through a 4 year deal, and possibly 1 extension before he retired for good, or die in the unfortunate event that would occur. His health is not a concern of mine. 70 is the new 55.

They made a point last night to say multiple times that he's not retired when he was on air with Gruden. He also got pissed off just watching NY have a couple bad plays.

Coughlin isn't SUPER high on my list, but we could use some of his discipline and accountability
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Matt Patricia and Harold Goodwin are my top choices. I wouldn't be upset about Coughlin though.

You know i got to thinking after reading a mildly informed Alfie article. Wouldn't it make sense to maybe bring him in as like President of Football operations instead of as a coach?

Khan and Caldwell will be sucked in by another rookie coach who says all the right things - like the roster is good and Bortles is the guy.....and they'll hire him.

They don't want to hear a prospective coach come in and say the whole roster needs to be blown up and that we need to start again.

Update: Tom went to feed the ducks today but was found hours later throwing croissants at a local school band practice

I'm sure he called a few timeouts and tried to throw a red flag at the tuba section

I've compl3t3d my mathemajical calculations on my fisher price see and say.

My sources tell me that Coughlin is the same age as our President elect. I think its time we take a cue from the zeitgeist of the nation.

Coughlin has at least as much fire in his belly as trump. Its time ya'll. Lets make the Jaguars great again!!

(Payton, or Mcarthy would also be ok. We need a proven head coach this time around)

No good coach will come here if that is indeed the case. We'll be stuck with another rookie HC. So you better hope like hell that's not the case.

I just want an offensive mind instead of this offensive crap we've had.

I don't want to hear that, either.  The fact is, the roster is a million times better than it was four years ago.   So I hope they don't hire someone who wants to blow it all up.  We need offensive linemen, and a coaching staff, and a true QB competition.   We have good RBs, TEs, WRs, LBs, DBs.  Our roster is not devoid of talent like it was four years ago.

I'd say a good coaching staff could get us into the playoffs in one year, two years tops.

The 'fact' is that this roster has done n o t h i n g to prove that it's any better than what we had four years ago! All we know we have on our roster is 'paper giants'. We're all still waiting to see the greatness that their stats suggests they are capable of.

Well if the roster is no better than it was 4 years ago, then all the losing is the fault of Caldwell and NOT Bradley.  Are you willing to say that?

Look at that fire.

Every time that I see him look like this, I think of him trying to figure out who dispersed the butt gas.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

It's so funny, ever single Jaguars head coach that was fired kicked our [BLEEP]!  Twice this year.

Bumping this as a reminder today is the Tom Coughlin radiothon to benefit The Jay Fund. They help families with children suffering from childhood cancer. The money stays in the Jacksonville immediate area. A wonderful cause. If you can swing it any donation amount helps. Not posting any links because I do not know if it is allowed. They have a website.

Maybe there will be a huge donation by Mr. Khan. :whistling:  Wink, wink.
