You know Marrone has told the team that this one is a little personal for him and if they didn't mind to go on ahead and beat the living [BLEEP] out of that team.
Looking to troll? Don't bother, we supply our own.
This is hilarious lol
This guy realizes that the Jets QB is Josh McCown right? But hey they beat a playoff team from last year who lost their starting QB.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

What? Have we forgotten who plays behind center for the Jags? It's not as if the writer is stating anything about Bortles that we weren't saying two weeks ago. This is the NFL. Any given Sunday. We are playing on the road. We just returned from overseas. The Jets are coming off a dominant performance against the Dolphins (a playoff team last year). If they can force Bortles into some bad mistakes they certainly can win this game, especially if the team takes them lightly like you all are reacting.
How is Marrone a mediocre HC? He's the only guy to take the Bills to the playoffs in forever and did it with Kyle Orton.

I'm not sure that this can be used as a legitimate excuse? They flew home after the game on Sunday night.. a 5 hour time difference is hardly that much to overcome.. they will have had at least 4 full days to recover from the London trip when you count getting back in the early hours on Monday morning and flying to NJ on Saturday presumably?.. besides.. our last road game didn't end all too badly, right? Anyway, I think we keep our performance up from last week and we win comfortably. ![]() 80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics...
Sure...Ignore the elephant in the room. The article was about our quarterback that has played like a ride at Six Flags. Anybody wanna disagree that we will lose if Bortles plays like he did against the Titans?

You'd think this guy covered the Patriots with the superiority complex. He writes for the JETS! The pathetic J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS..lol

Anybody wanna disagree that we will lose if Bortles plays like he did against the Titans? The Jags will have a very tough time overcoming 3 turnovers and several penalty-stalled drives against almost any opponent. The jets included. However, I think Bortles only need play marginally better vs the jets than he did vs the titans if the team keeps the penalties in check and averages ~4 yards per carry on the ground. That game was close for the first 39 minutes before the defense was just handed too many consecutive short fields to defend. Some of that is on Bortles, but certainly not all of it. I don't think anyone expects that Blake will suddenly put up a 120 passer rating every week.

We have all seen it for 4 years. Which Bortles will show up on Sunday? The Jets beat writer expects Mr. Hyde. He could be absolutely right. We haven't been 3-1 since Eisenhower was in the White House and you all are acting as if this writer is talking out of his butt. Two weeks ago you all were calling for Bortles' head and now you think he's the next coming of Joe Montana. As Marrone said, "don't get too up and don't get too down." What this guy wrote isn't wrong and if we aren't careful I don't want us to prove him right. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Article is stupid and poorly written but i think we are overconfident on this board right now.
I think the game could be pretty close

And despite you not liking his opinion he's not wrong and he writes well. And the competition to become a beat writer for the J-E-T-S far exceeds most NFL teams because of the market he works in. So be pleased your team is a road favorite for the first time in 10 years. You can be free to boast when this team is a dynasty like the Patriots. McCown isn't close to Bortles' level. McCown has never thrown more than 13 TDs in a season. In a regression year, Bortles threw for over 20 last year, In Bortles' rookie year, Bortles almost eclipsed McCown's top TD mark. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
