Bortles is a loser

#41

Look, Bortles is so bad his over throws are even going to Andrew Luck. He just had his 2nd interception against Green Bay. At least his team is winning so far, even though the QB is responsible for 2 INTs. It's amazing isn't it.

Quote:He wanted to win. No one was open he ran and chanced injury to win.  So yea... He was good this game.  Hurns on other hand.  Why did we pay him again?
I wanted to win today too...what does that mean, he gets a pass because of effort?

Quote:Not trying to be condescending, however, Bortles threw some serious ducks today. I saw maybe 3 passes that looked like PRO QBs.

No worries. I said halfway decent. I didn't say good. Compared to what we've seen the past 4 weeks, I'll take halfway decent right now.

The difference he is a nfl qb and you are not. Just a coach gm.

We all know Bortles is incapable of going through progressions. Are you sure he wasn't staring down Walters? ;-)

All kidding aside, I thought Blake looked halfway decent today and seemed to throw the ball much better than the past 3 weeks. Can't we at least acknowledge that and stop looking for excrement to bash this kid with?

I agree, once he settled down he was able to make plays with his feet and throws were better.

To me he reminds me of Tebow, as bad as that sounds.  He is a great big athlete, but not a natural thrower.

Funny man here.  No tebow could not throw at all. Not even close.  I watched one game tebow was off the mark 99 out of 103 times.

I'm looking at that play right now...

AR15 was single covered on the outside and was curling back to the play.  A good QB could have thrown AR15 open.

Also, Yeldon broke out and was single covered by a slow LB and had room in the flat.  A good QB could have thrown Yeldon open for the first down.

Lastly, Walters was single covered, if BB5 would have led him, the ball would have bee catchable.  But it was late and behind Walters.

A good QB would have made a better read and a better throw.

The entire thing is a cluster (bad word removed).  And at the end of the day, if falls on BBmalePatternbaldness5

At this point?? lol

Lee made a great break, the CB on him gave him alot of seperation.

The easy throw was to Lee.  But BBINT didn't even look in that direction.

BBINT didn't even recognize the what the defense was giving him.  It's all on that bald headed nincompoop

This wasn't on Bortles.  The offense gained 449 yards.  The WRs had some big drops.  And, he was playing from behind again, which is never easy (but also partly his fault).  Not a great stat line at 21/44 252YDS 2TD 1INT, but he added 54YDS on 6 carries.  That's a pretty good effort on the road.

Our D played really well and was significantly more disciplined.  If they could just get turnovers this would be a playoff-quality D.

He would be much worse here.  That is a fact.  Luck with no time is a turn over machine and cant run as fast.

Yep, he's never been on a team as bad as the 2014 and 2015 Jaguars. Had he come out in 2014 and joined the Jaguars the same questions we're asking about Bortles (is he a franchise guy) would be asked about Luck.
