Greenville Church burned and spray painted "Vote Trump"

#41

I think there is almost ZERO chance this was done by Trump people.    If they ever catch the people it will be people from "the community" who were trying to trying to stir up outrage.

I think there is a 100% chance this was done by Trump people.  And it's disgusting.  It's disgusting when Hillary supporters do it, and disgusting when Trump supporters do it.

This election has brought out the worst in everyone.  I've lost a lot of respect for a lot of people here during this election--not because of who they support--but because of how they support their candidate, and how they take glee whenever they read about someone from the other side doing this things. I've lost respect because they throw out logic and instead resort to conspiracy theories that suggest that the other side was somehow responsible, because there's no way their side would resort to anything like that.

I can't wait until this election is over.  Maybe then we can all go back to being normal, decent human beings.  Or at least I hope so.

The only thing that I agree with regarding the part in bold is that it's disgusting.  As far as the "100% remark... lets look at it objectively.

Which side of the political spectrum is pretty much anti-religion?  That would be the left.

Which side of the political spectrum has done more vandalism and has been more violent?  That would be the left.

There's also a 100% chance it was done by Clinton supporters to get people like you thinking it was Trump people.  What we know now is that there has been a concerted effort by subordinates of Clinton to try to create chaos, and to make it look like Trump supporters did it.  So, ignore the possibility all you wish.  Odds are, it wasn't Trump supporters.  There's simply no precedent to support the notion, while there IS a precedent for Clinton supporting, Soros funded groups looking to create mischief.

There are certainly extremists on both sides, but they're fringe at best, so I'm not sure what you're referring to about being normal, decent human beings.  Despite my complete disagreement with many on the left, I don't judge their humanity.  It must be awfully nice to be in a position where you can judge others based on their political viewpoints.  How's the weather up there in that ivory tower?

Both sides have shown they are capable of violence.  And being against religion doesn't mean that you're pro violence against religion (as some people would be surprised to learn).  Dylann Roof was a Christian who attacked a church.  Both sides need to stop excusing the actions of their members by saying "It's really the other side that's doing it!"   Yeah, cause your side would NEVER resort to such actions.  Nope.   Must be nice in fantasy land.

Keep your head in the sand.  It'll be interesting to see where this investigation goes.  My guess is that you're going to be disappointed by what they find.  This just has a fishy smell to it in my opinion.

it's possible the KKK did it will wearing MAGA hats. who knows.  it's obvious that the OP was using a guilt by association tactic by referencing the story, and it got the desired response, "Welcome to Trump's America" hence our response that I guess to you is DEPLORABLE

It's ugly, awful, and inexcusable.

And unfortunately such things are known to happen in Mississippi, even today.

They weren't brought there for the first time due to this election, or for the purpose of it.  It's much deeper seeded than that.  No matter who did it and why, that was just the excuse for opportunity of what was already in that person's black heart.

Agreed.  I'm not dismissing the potential that some misguided person or persons set this church on fire and painted Vote Trump on the building because they support Trump.  I just think it's far too convenient to take what little has been reported, knowing what we do about the tactics being employed by those supporting Clinton, to jump to any conclusions.

The guilt by association tactic seems to be a page right out of their playbook.  The reality is, this isn't Trump's America we're talking about.  This divisiveness has grown exponentially under the current administration, and it's been done by design.  Crack open Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky and you'll see a lot of the behavior we've seen over the past 8 years utilized to fracture this country into segments.  An action like this would certainly play right into that.

Which side of the political spectrum brings up votes based on demographics (race, gender, etc.)?  Which side likes to use the phrase "rich white old people" or something along those lines?  A huge problem in our country today is division.  Supposedly Obama was going to fix and change all of that.  Is it better or worse now than it was 8 years ago?

Be honest about it.

0bama and his administration have done more to divide than Trump ever could, even if he tried.

What does that tell you?

It was purposeful and effective.

Trump seeks none of that.  Nothing for him to gain out of it.  As for the current admin... it's their "mission accomplished."

Is it better? Certainly doesn't seem so. The GOPs autopsy report would seem to imply there is some truth to the idea that dems bring up about the rifht. I'd argue both sides have fostered this division on purpose. That's beside the point however. Who's fault it is has nothing to with the point I raised.

Not that I've seen.  I haven't seen him call Hillary supporters any names like "deplorable" or "racist".
