You know it happened after the 1996 season, right?

Of the four teams that advanced to the Conference championship games, only Jacksonville was given one prime time appearance when the schedule came out.  The other four teams-New England, Green Bay, and Carolina-were all given at least four.

The league called it "an oversight."
