Looks like Ritchie Incognito has not changed

This is really a "his word against mine" scenario, so I'm not sure what will come of this. Yea Incognito has a history of this, but you can't let that factor in to this. I just hope that nothing comes of this. They are investigating and if they find no evidence there is a chance that a punishment comes down on Yannick for defemation of character. And yea, I understand that is ironic because "Incognito? What character?" but it is possible.

I'm pretty sure that there are no defamation of character clauses in the NFL/NFLPA contract.

Well that is good to know.

He probably made remarks about his name and that came off a certain way because of who was saying it. In the CBS interview before the game Yan hinted that people making fun of his name bothered him. As for no one else hearing what exactly was said, that shouldn't be surprising. They should all be zoned in on their man and their jobs. Calais did say that they were saying things as if it they were "coached" to try to get under their skin, presumably because of some of the Jags chippy games this year.

Why would you put that information out there in the first place? The fastest way to keep getting picked on is to let people know it bothers you, then it becomes a game to them.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

You make Yannick sound like he's a child. He can handle his business and has done so his first two years in the league..

Did you see the interview? I didn't say he gave the impression that it made him wilt and it obviously didn't work this game. I was trying to give some context to what kind of ethnic trash talk it might have been since he did not give specifics.

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane believes there might have been a "misunderstanding" between Bills guard Richie Incognito and Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue that led Ngakoue to accuse Incognito of using racial slurs during Sunday's AFC wild-card playoff game.

"There was definitely an exchange," Beane said Tuesday in the Bills' end-of-season news conference. "I think there is a misunderstanding of what was said.
