Rapoport reports Bradley will Not be fired midseason
|
I would be willing to bet khan already has feelers out for the HC position. he'll pull the trigger quickly at season end and have it all lined up.
In the mean time, yes....there may some symbolic firings along the way of coaching staff, especially if/when we lose to the tacks tomorrow.

Bradley should be pretty much considered done. Caldwell though? I don't think there is a chance in hell he gets the boot this season. He's much better than Gene Smith and the later years of Shack Harris.
Doesn't mean anything. If we lose tonight I don't see how they can keep moving forward like this with him still in his position.

Depends on if we lose and by how bad. If were blown out. Gus is toast. If we win he is good. If competitive to end we are good.

If they play another game like last weeks, then Khan should fist fight Gus in the locker room.

Quote:And they had exactly one winning season since then, then immediately crashed afterwards. Well, citing Jerruh Jones as some sort of great owner is pretty much a joke anyway. What, exactly, have the Cowboys done since he started meddling in football operations rather than just being the owner? ![]()

Excuse is already available about how "tough" it is to go on the road and win on Thursday night. I'll be shocked when things change with this team. Last year was more disturbing because the quality of competition was lower.

Quote:When have any of those owners fired a coach midseason? Jerry Jones fired Wade Philips midseason. I can't remember when he did it. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Two different animals...From reading other threads, it has become apparent that coaches and managers change often in england football...What Khan has said multiple times is that firing a coach mid season would not make a big enough difference in the outcome of a season to make sense to do so. Good, somebody else knows what Shad Khan talked about. Do you have a link to those comments? I can't find one.

Last year was more disturbing because the quality of competition was lower. Not only it is on the road, but we had only four days to prepare. You bet it's a tough game ahead. Knowing this, why do people think tomorrow is a great time for Gus Bradley to get punted if we lose?
I think Khan has struggled to hire the right people into the football side of the organization.
Mark Lamping was a terrific hire on the business side, and the team has flourished. But that type of experience and leadership is severely lacking on the football side. They someone like what John Elway has done in Denver.
