The lolz I'm getting at some of your meltdowns was worth staying up late. It's a BAP pick and it's what good teams do. When he's a beast in the middle of our line I hope you all will be remembering how much of a bunch of crybabies oyu were tonight.

I want to hear what they have to say, but I'm seeing nothing. (04-26-2018, 11:57 PM)FreeAgent01 Wrote:(04-26-2018, 11:48 PM)knarnn Wrote: I picked him in our board mock draft for Philly. He’s a Calais clone and future pro bowler. He's 3 inches shorter and only 10lbs lighter before he even hits the NFL. That would actually make him more stout than Calais.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Welcome to picking BAP and not thinking about needs. We have someone that can take the place of the expensive aging guys there. There's still a few more picks... I trust our FO knows what it's doing. This could pay off next year when we have to release somebody for cap space.
No pain, no gain.
Ya'll know Malik, Marcel, and Campbell are making huge money right? Somebody has gotta go after this year. Bryan is gonna be with Yannick for years. Solid pick.
BORTLES ISN'T A FRANCHISE QB. FOURNETTE WILL BE A BUST.
Hmmm...Tony Khan’s fingerprints with the analytics? I wanted Hernandez very vocally, but Coughlin and Caldwell probably know more about football than I do. Hope the kid’s a beast.

Premium position - check
Good value - check Amazing potential - check Long term planning - check Absolutely the best place for such a player to develop - check Really like the pick.
There are a ton of DT's available for next round too. We should snag them up now with the next picks. You know, since our offense is such a scoring machine.
Not a bad pick considering future contracts, if he pans out to his projected potential then we win, if he is just a role player then ok we get another tackle in the mix that makes plays occasionally, who cares we picked 29th because we kicked [BLEEP] last year and we are poised to do it again this year

And the fact that Calais has almost as many sacks in one game against NFL players as Taven had in his entire 30 game career against college players. You honestly believe Campbell is only 300 pounds? Really? Dude is easily 320.
DJ Moore wasn't there so we got a late blooming defensive lineman to add into the rotation and probably take over as a starter next year when we have to think about cap space. On top of that he's versatile and can play anywhere along the defensive line.
No pain, no gain.
Is he a terrible pick ? Time will tell. I can see what they are trying to do with it. I won't cry about it

Y’all wanted BAP drafting....well here it is.

Granted I take PFFs grades and stuff with a pinch of salt but this is a pretty good description of who he is as a player.
