Is this the best secondary in the NFL?

Now? No.

In 2 or 3 years (when Colvin and Ramsey have about 3-5 years experience)?

It's very possible.

Need more interceptions.

One interception by the dbs this season. Not good enough.

Quote:What is with Cyp hovering near the LOS then running back to his normal position on so many plays recently? It's not like he's fooling anyone since he does it about 3-5 seconds before the snap. I just never noticed it as much before. It's looks silly to me.
His position probably depends on what look the offense gives. Certain formations he stays in the box, others he'll drop back into coverage. But your right he needs to disguse that more before defenses start giving him fake looks and exploiting it.

I think in two years they could be a top 3 secondary.  If they get one more quality outside CB.

I imagine they'll need another starting caliber outside corner besides Amukamara.  I have little faith he'll stay healthy consistently enough and who knows if he even takes a deal here or elsewhere when this contract is up?  I mean, they could put House out there when Prince is banged up, but... I'd try to draft a better option.

I feel good about Ramsey, Colvin, and Gipson. I feel OK about Cyprien, though I think they'll attempt an upgrade there too.

It's Amukamara that will likely need replacing IMO. He's played beyond my expectations for him, but it's hard to count on him with that injury history when it's already been an issue 5 games in.
