Lazard and Wilds waived per Mike Kaye.

I was hoping Wilds would make it.

Very happy Mickens made the team. The fumbling is a concern, but he is electric when he is playing loose.

Number 5 in yards per punt return last year

Only 23 years old, with plenty of room to improve.

I don't have the slightest clue what "pbus" might even mean, but there's this...

Per Mike Kaye, the Jaguars have waived Michael Dunn, Allen Lazard and Brandon Wilds.

I can see all three making the PS along with Phillips.

It doesn't get any more OFFICIAL than that.

LOL

That's the stupidest thing I've heard all day.  Opinions from talking heads are not official in any capacity.
Lageman has repeatedly touted bubble players he's liked year after year only for them to be cut over and over again. Boselli guesses TC and Caldwell's moves about as accurately as your boy AJ McCarron threw the football yesterday.  The FO of the Jags wouldn't take Taylor's advice on what hot sauce to put on their tacos much less personnel.
You need to see a therapist with all of these delusions you're experiencing.

Fella! We talkin bout official opinions here.  Those specifically of the talkin radio heads of the front office, so... Please... Respect it. Thank u Smile

Hopefully Lazard cut means we keep Smelter and not Greene.

That Crockett kid quietly impressed last night.  He seems like a backend sleeper base on his gutsy gritty performance.  Honestly, I'd rather keep him than Greene at this point, as he showed the ability to go make plays.

The official jungle cat thread takeover has begun.

As a note of interest, Austin Pasztor was cut by the Falcons per nfl.com .

While by no means would I want Pasztor as a starter, he played decently for us as a spot player for us a few years back.  I wonder if he has anything left.

Fits in perfectly for that model. Wasn't sure if he was a lock before Lee as the 6th, but once he went down it was automatic. Great story for sure.

Totally agree about JayGone Mickens. The guy has a great feel for the game and is an explosive play maker on the field. I think he makes the team better and his intensity in needed on special teams and in the WR room.

Meeks got to be pretty upset at himself if he doesn't make it. If he doesn't drop those two for sure interceptions for TD's he is a lock for the 53, so in a way he may of dropped his roster spot. He seems to have a real good feel for the game, but when you are fighting for a roster spot you GOT to make those plays.

Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

I hope that Wilds can make it onto the practice squad.

This thread is about Jaguars cuts. Keep up.

In your personal attack upon me, you included a reference to A. J. McCarron which deserved an appropriate response.

In order to keep Mickens, the Jaguars must sweep his historic fumbling propensity under the rug. I do believe  fumbles on punt returns is a single season record.

Josh Lambo Missed 6 Field goals before Jaguars signed him 6!!! SABOTAGE. FRONT OFFICE IS SABOTAGE111!!!111

Btw the single season record is 23. That's pretty funny...

Patmon was never on the bubble to be cut. He didn't play last night because his spot as the 4th CB is secure.
But yeah, I like him too. He picked up where he left off last year and took a step forward in the preseason.

No Junglekat yields no dissent, and an otherwise insipid whitey read. But carry on folks. Tis your insular board.

FYI: The New York Jets have released ILB Kevin Minter. He was a second round pick (45th overall) of the Arizona Cardinals in 2013 out of Louisiana State. Minter battled injury while on a 2017 one year $4.25 million dollar contract with Cincinnati.

He was released by the Bengals and signed by the Jets, who thought he might make a come-back this season. They were not impressed enough with his work to keep him @ $900K.

Minter racked up 175 tackles in 2015-16.

Perhaps Calais Campbell might know him well enough to recommend him or not?
