This probably has more to do with where the opposing TE lines up than anything else. I haven't actually looked at the tape to confirm this, but my suspicion is you'll typically see Campbell on the side with the TE. 

The flipping of Campbell and Yan at DE  is largely (but not completely) attributable to the strong/weak side thing.

But rushing Yan from a 2 point stance inside is a wrinkle they seemingly added this past offseason.  Heck, I don't recall seeing that last postseason.
