Week 4 injuries
|
Quote:That is exactly what I was referring to - the four days off, as opposed to only one day off in a regular week. But players are allowed to practice during the bye week. It is just the CBA requires them to also have four days straight off during the bye week as well.

So you were wrong. Players can indeed practice during the bye week and can also end up on the injury report.

Quote:So you were wrong. Even so, I fully expect the Week 5 injury report to have different names listed. Of course all I care about now is the current injury report for Week 4. Offensive line should be good to go (as best they can). Secondary looked good against Green Bay with Prince healthy, so if he plays our secondary should be solid.
Don't disappoint me again Jags. Please run the ball and win.

FIFY Why do you want us to run the ball against a team that is short on healthy defensive backs after seeing over and over again the RBs had nowhere to go? Blake needs to win this game with his arm.
Quote:FIFY This is true. Blake has played so well without a running game. Just chuck it up 50 times and let Luck be on the field more. Our defense is too well-coached to let Luck go off. I smell a W!

I never said Blake should throw that many times. It would be wonderful if he does not have to. I just don't see how we can win with too many running plays. We should run it into the end zone more often, we'd probably score more points.
Have you seen my baseball?

You don't think it would benefit the team greatly if we can have an actual run game? The Colts would have to put more guys in the box, which would allow Arob to not have coverage over the top and would actually free up the passing game. Right now, teams know we can't run, so they keep 6 or 7 in the box and play primarily nickel.
