LOL Yep, that's true. Twenty posts on a page is definitely something.

Now let's get back to Week 5 in college football.

Quote:UNC vs FSU could get interesting... UNC has improved over the last 10 years... this should be a good game for the non partisan fan.

Yes sir. I just posted similar in the FSU thread. This will be a good one, FSU probably still gets the win with that D and their ground game. UNC is one of those underrated teams that should be in the top 25 right now.

What defense? I know Louisville is a good team, but FSU looked lost out there.

Quote:That Louisville / Clemson game should be amazing.

I'm rooting for Louisville in that one.

Last week, I got a chance to hang out with Louisville fans at their tailgate, and talked to a few others in the stands.

All the ones I encountered were really nice, level-headed people (seemingly).

They're excited about their national title chance this year. Plus, every one of them seemed to have a distaste for UK (Kentucky),, and how UK won't schedule tough games outside of their home (other than SEC conference games of course). I guess Louisville has been trying to get a Home vs Home thing going with them? Not real sure, that's what I took away from it though.

Anyway, Louisville's front 7 on defense looked STOUT. I hope they put it on Clemson tonight.

Jourdan Lewis seals the win for Michigan with one of the sickest INTs I've ever seen.

I did not expect the game to be close after seeing what Tennessee and Georgia did last week.

Can someone explain how a QB can be awarded forward progress after running backward, stepping laterally, and being downed in the end zone? That was at the UNC/FSU game. I thought it was a safety all the way.

I think what they were getting at was he was pushed(tackled) back 2 yards. It's like if you pick someone up and carried them back five yards before you put them on the ground.

So the play was over before his knee hit the ground. Got it.

That game was a nail biter after UNC's blocked PAT.

Is this your first time watching football? Plays end before a knee hits the ground in every single game.

Everyone says the same thing: "When the knee hits the ground the play is over." I have been watching college football way too long to not know that.

When forward progress is stop or can't be made whistle is blown. You can't drive a player back 5 yards and call it a five yard loss. Thing called rules prevents that.
