In the past coaches were known for doing those things, it was part of the role of coaching.

Just google it. With that said, if Gruden is disciplined, this has to be the "nail in the coffin" for Caldwell. Hiring a guy who would participate in things alleged in the letter, is not a good look, at all. Not after the "dumpster fire" he has been as a General Manager.

Judge not, lest ye shall be judged... or something.

As I said in a previous post... the Jay Gruden pot smoking hitting on young women has been news since Oct of 2019 when he fired in Washington. So that isn't new news. And to connect those dots to something like sex trafficking is kinda bunk my dude.
Especially when rumors were all this was dropping in the story and then it turned out the story was nothing like that and didn't even mention him.

As per the Swearinger post on social media, there was very little smoke to that fire as well. Coach talked down to a disgruntled player. We need to stop pretending these coaches are infallible people. They drink, smoke, swear and probably say all sorts of things to players when they act up, play poorly, or are insubordinate.

That is what I took as well. The whole crap with Swearinger Was overblown to say the least. He released his little screen shots of texts that, I think in his head, make him look Nobel or Something. But I kept thinking how many teams have cut you in the last three years. Stop trying to gain by throwing people under the bus and maybe get better at your job so your head coach doesn’t have to text his sorry [BLEEP] saftey who is publicly running his mouth.

“I was going to give him pass but.....” lol. Get the [BLEEP] out of here with that [BLEEP].
