Anybody catch Lageman this morning?

Nah, it's better to just accuse him of being a homer and dismissing anything he has to say.  He doesn't have a clue.

Quote:You do understand that neither Boselli nor Prisco actually have the power to fire anyone, right?

which is even stranger considering their hesitancy to say he probably deserves it.  They say he hasn't been good and needs to get better and they want him to get better because he is a good guy, but then they stop.  They don't push it any further ever and I think its because he is so likable.  I've been behind the guy but if this team doesn't show some real progress in the next two weeks he needs to be gone.  He needs to adjust his stupid scheme to fit the talents of the team.  This scheme needs speed at LB and we fill two of the positions with Poz and Skuta.

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17
2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice
  • Engram at TE and the MJD clone Samaje Perine

The fact that shills of this organization are now getting concerned about Gus Bradley just proves how stupid it is to listen to those that Administrate the status quo.

Gus Bradley stole another year.  We all know it.  A lot of folks were clamoring for his ouster last year.

Imagine how much better off we'd be if we didn't listen to Administrative shills that towed the company line...

This year may have been a renaissance for the Jaguars.  Instead, it's yet another year of the status quo.  It's nice that the shills finally recognize that Gus sucks.  But let's not act as though these people really are anything more than fools to deride.  They allowed this to happen.  Those that were clamoring for Gus' firing were mocked.  Even though it was clear how terrible Gus is as a coach.  The shills let us waste yet another year.

But yeah, Lagemen has so much football knowledge that we should pay him deference.  So say the troglydites of the fools.  I'm sorry, most hear don't buy it.

In Gene We Trust.  Players Not Plays.  Vic Ketchman.  These are the people and slogans of the shills that are used to belittle the fact that this organization has sucked at finding true leadership that can build a winning team and culture.

Let's just call it what it is.  It's time to recognize that this team sucks and the organization is to blame.  If Caldwell can't see that, if he keeps Gus after the bye, he's just as much a part of the problem as the rest of the shills.

Gus Bradley should have never made it on the plane back from San Diego.  That fool has taken enough money from this team.  He should feel ashamed for what a a terrible representation of this organization he's portrayed.  He's the worst coach in NFL history.  He should be apologizing to the city and to its fans.

Fire his [BAD WORD REMOVED]  Fire his [BLEEP] NOW

This.  Isn't he the one who kept telling us Joeckel was good, and we were morons for not thinking so?

It's so sickening that we have the worst coach in the HISTORY of this league.  Khan should have the testicular fortitude to fire his [BLEEP], so we can attempt to move on and salvage what's left of this season.  We still have a chance at this point in time, but not with Gus at the helm.

You know, i find it odd how heated and authoritative Gus was after Green Bay, he said very passionately, with a red face, that losing was unacceptable.

Now after the loss to SD, he seemed way too lackadaisical. "We'll learn from this" or "sometimes you have bad games"

It's insane. I think any one of us would be more furious after that loss, than the GB game. How can he be so inconsistent with his temperament after loses? to me that doesn't show what is acceptable and what is not. He has no standard of excellence. It's ambiguous every week.

He doesn't have high standards nor holds anyone accountable.  I believe he's been trying to be more "tough" lately and it's just not him.  Some people just aren't cut out for the job.

At least a winning season was a "reasonable expectation."

It's a very strange Imaginationland you have invented for yourself.  You haven't heard a word Lageman has said.  But then, to stay ignorant of the facts is the only way you can keep up pretend image of the people and things you dislike.

Gus' job is rightfully at risk and everyone realizes it.  Everyone.  No need to pretend or dramatize fact to overstate your own stance.  It disembowels it in the process.

Good to see a post from you.  I thought the team broke you finally.  Welcome to therapy...  I'll start.

My name is Kevin and I'm a Jaguars addict.  In the past week I have watched one game and spent time on the team's message boards.

I'm not broken, though the SD game really ticked me off.

My home PC, flat screen and other stuff got zapped by lightning and due to a few different things, I've been slow to replace it.  It is annoying trying to post from a tablet or even through a PS4, so that's the primary reason I don't post as often.

This team will break even the most patient fans. Sorry to hear bub. Jags got zapped on top of all that.

Rightfully, Gus should have been fired at the bye last year. The fact that he is still head coach after Sunday's debacle and merely "at risk" is exactly the problem. Forget the record. It was obvious from the first Houston game last year that he didn't know how to coach.

We were all hopeful that an excellent roster would overcome bad coaching this year. I'm hopeful of winning the lottery.

I agree with you that Lageman tends tells it like he sees it when he talks about the players. But I don't remember him ever criticizing the coaching staff, at least not while they were still with the team. But I have listened to only a fraction of his radio shows, so maybe I just missed it. To your knowledge, has Lageman ever criticized a coach?

Babich was a terrible DC and should have been fired a lot sooner (actually, he should have never been hired to begin with after his disastrous record with the Bears). The fact that Bradley replaced him with an apparently equally inept DC does not make him any better.
