So who's really to blame on the crossing routes?

I know Poz has taken a bunch of blame for yesterday but from the looks of it the blame belongs to the secondary. Take a look for yourself.

Essentially, we have 6 defenders covering 2 WRs and 1 TE approximately 20 to 30 yards down the field

On much talked about Poz-covering-Benjamin play, #Jaguars DC Todd Wash said "a young man," was supposed to be help over the top.

Gotta be Gratz. Cyp was blitzing and Ramsey was on the outside.

So was it just a complete meltdown in coverage by Gratz on Sunday? The guy has no business on the field if he can't execute routine assignments.

From the replay it looks like House, Gipson and Cyprien are deep leaving Ramsey Smith Poz and gratz underneath. Its a cover 3 with with Cyp and Ramsey switching roles.

For whatever reason gratz carried his man way too far and left his zone. Looks like he was playing man.

Interesting was seeing the communication between Cyp and Ramsey presnap making sure who is taking the deep third.

This is a cutable offense by gratz if my eyes are true. They should pull that trigger on Colvins return
Solid explanation. My thoughts exactly

Yes.

Bradley alluded to Gratz getting caught out of position "a couple of plays" in his presser today when asked.

He complimented his overall play, but said  "You can't  say - Hey, I played 60 snaps and did really good on 58 of them. Well, not in this league. That's not good enough."  (paraphrased)

After I discovered who everyone was looking at, I busted out laughing. I mean........come on. I suppose that's what Poz, or whomever said it, meant about busted coverage. Eeeesh.

To me, it's comparable to an offensive player not knowing if it's a run or pass play. I just can't even guess how you don't know after 4 years in the same system.

The other thing is we keep hearing about Poz being so essential to getting everyone lined up correctly, yet we have these gigantic gaffes multiple times a game in coverage in a supposedly pretty simple scheme.

Hmmmmmmm.

I blame the other teams players and coaches for taking advantage of ours.
