do not discourage your son, he may bring some great contributions to the board, or find a place he enjoys. Let him make his own choice. If he shows up and people are douchenozzles, I wouldn't blame him for disappearing into the woodwork.

Oh he’s still on here, but like me he just reads mainly… posts every once in a while. I have had to save him from bring flamed several times. 

People here are quick to attack the person and not debate the opinion. There are some great minds here, but there are quite a few who love going on the attack.. I’m too old to deal with random strangers coming to such grande conclusions about me because I posted xyz. 

I hope the fan base grows due to Tlaw… this has been a tough team to be a fan of through the decades. Anyone here should be appreciated, for the very least, remaining a fan of one of the worst teams in the NFL. 

I feel bad for the mods here sometimes.

I'll never understand why this specific message board has so many people who can't just have fun and act like we're in a police station. It's a very unpopular unpopulated forum with some fans, we don't have to take things so seriously. 

Also this isn't a knock specifically on you Rico, but just in general I wish people would lighten up and just discuss the topic rather than dis it.

You honestly just sound bitter. Maybe you're older (and i'm not saying this disrespectfully, at least not intending to) but I just don't understand why this forum is so strict, theres like 20-30 regular users.. Outside of people getting mad at a topic being posted because it's not up to their "standards" things like mods getting bent out of shape because a topic is in the wrong section etc or merging threads because god forbid someone mentioned something similar to another thread is just so mind boggling it's like they are trying to kill the forum off by being annoying. Don't get it. Like i've said before, theres a reason the Jaguars reddit page is booming and this forum is just dwindling downwards.

In all fairness, anyone on this board with 10,000 or more posts has battle scars and a Jaguars version of PTSD.  We are all bitter.  We are borderline psychos.  The only thing that gets us through each day is this counseling board.  Welcome to the nut house !!
