Teddy Bridgewater potentially done for the season?

Quote: There's also a fake Adam Schefter Twitter account reporting bogus injury news about Teddy Bridgewater. LOL People are just trying to beat the real (and reliable) reporters to news. Any chance they care about the Vikings? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! I believe I saw somewhere that the Vikings will hold a press conference at 5:00 eastern.
There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.
Quote:NFL.com says 30 minutes. I guess the last five were spent checking out Bridgewater. You know it is bad when stuff like this happens. It was actually 28 minutes.

Sorry to hear about Teddy, bad news indeed.
It just goes to show you that any team is always just one play away from something like this, even if it is only a preseason practice play.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Brian Murphy tweet:
Bad scene. Bridgewater down in pocket grabbing left knee. Players freaked out, swearing and praying. Immobilized. Practice halted #Vikings Quote:Sorry to hear about Teddy, bad news indeed. So true. Even for non football players or professional athletes in general, sometimes all it takes is one false step or even bending down slightly to suffer a serious injury.
Quote: Their Secondary has big time talent as well. I can't think of a team deeper at CB than the Vikings. Harrison Smith is a Pro Bowl caliber FS, who can also excel in the box. Only SS is average or below in their deep patrol. Good point D6, that team is just loaded on the defensive side of the ball, and Zimm's scheme is perfect for their personnel. If Jordy doesn't return to his pre-injury self, it wouldn't surprise me if the Vikes (even with Teddy's injury) still win that division. Teddy didn't play all that great last season,. they just need a guy who doesn't turn the ball over, they can win with that defense and running game. We show less advertisements to registered users. Jordy Nelson will be fine and still has Aaron Rodgers. Quote:Good point D6, that tea, is just loaded on the defensive side of the ball, and Zimm's scheme is perfect for there personnel. With choice # 2 not even remotely close to Peterson as choice # 1. This, combined with the Vikings not getting good enough play from their WRs other than then rookie Stefon Diggs cut down on Teddy Bridgewater's numbers considerably. I probably rate Bridgewater's performance level from last season higher than most people that follow the NFL. With upgrades on Offense this season, especially with their 1st Round pick, I thought Turner would open the Vikings Offense up more. Especially, since the Vikings now are playing the majority of their games in Domes. Many of Bridgewater's best performances have come indoors. He's much better suited in the long run to the new Vikings Stadium than outdoors at the University of Minnesota facility.

Quote:I read there was blood everywhere. Not sure why there would be? Compound fracture where the bone comes through the skin, I highly doubt that happened
Quote:I read there was blood everywhere. Not sure why there would be?Apparently he's sedated.... Maybe it's just me but that seems extreme for just a blown ligament which is what I would assume is the injury given it's supposedly non contact.
Dude's so soft, air got em!
Sucks for him and the Vikes. Maybe he should wear gloves on his knees? They'll be able to do just as well with -insert random QB here- Just keep leaning on AP and that D... We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

It is not just a blown ligament if blood was everywhere. There can be a fracture and ligament tear at the same time. The non-contact part also makes me fear a ligament tore.
