I never thought I'd miss Cam Robinson...

Put Little in his best spot where he belongs. He's a better LT than Cam. It's a luxury to have two starting caliber LTs -- I get that. But to start the lesser of the two at LT just because he has a high cap number and move the better one inside, where he becomes a liability, is incompetent personnel management. It reminds me of the team being greater than the sum of its parts. The "Beard" is a great player, but sometimes his best spot is on the bench to benefit the team overall. I could think of many other examples, but I'm procrastinating on a project and loathe the NBA.

I don’t think Cam gets the spot back this time. Little and Cleveland is our best configuration.
O-Line looked really good.
As they have for the last month... If only the play calling would catch up... But I'm sure it's coming!!! The team is starting to gel. Pederson is beginning to get everything together. This game was huge, and we pulled it out. For all the flaws of the offense and the play calling, we got it done. That has to be something to be excited about!! Go JAGS!!!!
Anyone know what happened to Cam? I tuned in and his injury had just happened, said it was a knee and questionable to return. After that it looked like he was crying on the sideline with a towel over his head, Trevor was talking to him. Just kinda made me think it was something serious. I didn’t see the play.

If I’m not mistaken, cam was seen crying on the bench. Heart goes out to him. He’s a good player and put in a lot of work through the rough years since he was drafted. (Losing seasons)
Now, the promise land is here and some people want to get rid of him. I hope he’s not hurt too bad and heals up swiftly.
Would be good to have him healthy for the playoff run if he’s healthy, always need depth. Hopefully it’s just a bruise like what Little had.

Probably a season-ender, based on his reaction. Not sure if the tears were because he wouldn't play a part in our postseason run, or if he realized this is gonna make signing with another team for Jawann Taylor money a severely uphill battle.

I feel bad for him, truly. No one wants to see any injuries. But I also think the line picked it up once Cleveland was on the field and Little is the better left tackle. Annnddddd.... I want the shot of him crying with the caption: "That face you make when you blow out your knee and also that you're getting enhanced PED testing" “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

I just think he loves the game personally, hard to say for sure unless you're a mind reader. Coming from someone who has come back from a season ending injury, just to have some unlucky [BLEEP] happen to you the very next season, is such an emotional drain. I feel bad for the guy, and I think he just wants to help the team win.
Robinson getting knee "testing" done today to determine extent of injury per Pederson.
I assume exam and imaging is what he means. (11-27-2023, 02:52 PM)NYC4jags Wrote: Robinson getting knee "testing" done today to determine extent of injury per Pederson. Ideally - we roll with what we've got and Cam gets ready to play back up soon. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
The benefit of playing divisional opponents twice a year is that you can evaluate the team from 1 game to the other...
O-Line looks much improved. QB and Receivers look much improved. We honestly should have blown out Houston yesterday based on how well our O-Line played and how well our QB and reciever corps looked... At half time it should have been at least 16-7. With a simple QB sneak it could have been 20-7. Either way, the loss of Cam, while sad, will not be a big deal based on Cleveland and Little swapping spots. Spot swap, let's swap some spots! LOL

I get sticking with your guy and all that but much like the O line, there were way to many times he'd leave someone like Agnew in on offense when it clearly was hurting the team. I liked the playcall on the goal line, my only issue with it was the fact that we had like 1-2 seconds left. Personally i'd rather just take the 3 and move on. I know it's not the sexy move but neither is getting 0 points on a drive that shoulda resulted in some. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
