I hope CJ does his thing and gets us back in the win column. Rourke is 1 snap away. Fireworks could happen.

It's going to be okay, guys. We weren't going to win the Super Bowl this year, anyway. We're good, but we're not that good. But what we are is 8-4, one game ahead plus the tiebreaker.

It would be nice if we make it as a wild card.

But Press Taylor is our OC.  Unless Trevor Lawrence comes back, we're not gonna make the playoffs.  Press Taylor just doesn't do what other OC's do.  He's a chump.  And we're here suffering through it.

OK.

Lawrence's last three games say otherwise. Still don't understand this hate for Press Taylor. I mean, for [BLEEP]'s sake, Beathard comes in and was basically perfect in short order with Press calling the plays. We should have won last night. Had it not been for a holding call.

My God man, you need to stop with this nonsense. You act like we have Matt Canada or Jedd Fisch on this staff or something. Holy [BLEEP] man.

Not to mention that regardless of schedule, HOU is still rolling with rookie QB and rookie coach. Same coach who made some questionable calls against us in a closely contested regular season game, albeit with significant postseason implication.

Guess it's just easier to assume that our roster (most of whom have been there before and done that) are going to be overwhelmed by the situation and do their best lawn chair impression. @We've certainly seen that out of this team, after all.@

This is what I said in the gameday thread:

Well, now is the time Pederson has to show he is a good coach, the season it's not lost if he can keep the team focused, he had a similar situation in 2017 when Wentz got hurt.

This team, also, have come back everytime they had a setback, I believe in this team!

I agree that we werent going to win, but i think we could have gotten there if everything had fallen into place.

The Jags are not looking good to make the playoffs without winning the division. They have lost the tie breaker to the Bengals and Browns, plus the AFC conference record has taken 2 loses with another most likely next week.

It really could come down to a 3 way tie for the division. The Jags need the Steelers to win next week against the Colts. The Jags win all division tie breakers because of head to head or division record as long as they beat the Titans.

I think the jags better win the afc south. After that, anything can happen in the play offs. There isn’t a team besides the 49rs that truly scares you out there.

Division title is a good accomplishment. If we get that, we should be happy. Super Bowl aspirations are out the window, especially with all the injuries we've had.
