Floyd at 5 would be terrible. He underachieved at Georgia so why should things change? I wouldn't even take him if trade down to 11. I'd rather have Lawson, Lee and even Ragland.

 

I think the Jags may just want him to play like he did. 

 

Plug him in at Otto.  Get 5-6 sacks/year and help out in coverage... Set the edge defensively and improve team speed.

You guys might think this is crazy, but I think the Jags are smitten with Apple. I think they want to drop back, pick a guy like Lawson or maybe this Floyd and then package picks to come back up and get Apple. That's my wild prediction. Tomorrow can't get here soon enough.

You don't draft an outside linebacker, top five in the draft, to do what you mentioned.

I feel like this kid is being slept on. I see a lot of potential. It will be interesting to see what he posts at the combine. I see a lot of Von Miller in him. He is lean but has an explosive first step and bends the edge better than any player in this year's draft. He can run with tight ends and plays the run well at the linebacker position. Smooth athlete. I think he would be a great OTTO and addition to this defense. Depending on his combine numbers I would not mind drafting him at 5. He put a lot more pressure on the QB than his 4.5 sacks show and is extremely versatile.

I could see Caldwell taking Tunsil, if he's available. Dave talks about finding a player who could help the franchise long term, and I think Tunsil fits that bill more than any other player. Plus, there's too many questions with Jack (knee) and Bosa ( natural fit in our system). I will go on record as predicting a surprise pick...Tunsil or Buckner.
