Can you imagine the real worth of JJ Watt and Von Miller after the contract Vernon got?

I'm not saying he isn't a good defensive end, but those numbers are astronomical. Talk about right place, right time.

Can you imagine how JJ watt is feeling after seeing what he got? I bet he wished he waited to make the Texans franchise him and negotiate a monster deal.

Yeah maybe its the "second fiddle" thing, but reading the comments from that article. I'm glad we didn't get him. I want the guy we're getting thinking of 100 ways to get 27 sacks, not 100 ways to spend $27M in a big city.

Contrast that to Malik, who brings his entire family to the press con. Yeah, its about the money for Malik. But at least he's thinking of how to earn that $90M contract rather than the upfront money and how to get his 2nd contract like Vernon.
