Trump crushes South Carolina Primary

Quote:So I guess Trump is just another politician who's afraid to stick his neck out and lead on anything because he wants to win an election.

What's so great about that?

If you don't think Trump has already stuck his neck out on issues such as immigration and trade, I am not sure what to tell you.

Thats nitpicking in reverse. Hes the most competent manager to handle the finances of this country, by far. I believe hes sincere about saving the program and i think tgat using the collective size of the risk pool to negotiate better deals with service providers is common sense. Thats tens of billions of dollars.

Have you had your head stuck in the sand? All Trump does is stick his neck out. No filter, tells it like he thinks it should be.

Then he's telling the truth when he says he has no intention of doing anything about Medicare or Social Security.

Is he telling the truth or not?

I already replied, he said he wasn't going to make changes other than detecting and cutting fraud waste and abuse. Done, that's it. He believes having a strong and reinvigorated economy can support it in its current for when you cut the waste.

You know how many politicians have run for office promising to root out fraud, waste, and abuse?   Thousands.   You know how many have succeeded?   None that I can recall.   "I'm going to root out fraud, waste and abuse" is politician-speak for "I'm not going to do anything about it."

So as far as I can tell, Trump has no intention of doing anything about the biggest budget item that will bankrupt our country if nothing is done about it.

I don't see how any self-respecting Republican can vote for that guy.  The one thing I like about the Republicans is that, unlike the Democrats, they show some evidence that they intend to tackle the budget.  But if they nominate Trump, the country will just spiral further into bankruptcy.   Because he's sticking his head in the sand when it comes to Medicare.

Can you recall the last self funded presidential campaign that captured the nomination of a major political party.

To me, at this point everyone whom is a conservative has to start backing /supporting Donald Trump & the other candidates (w/exception of Cruz & Rubio because they have a slim chance) need to drop out of the race.

Either way all candidates at this point have to start focusing more on what they will do (issues) and less of the hate speech back and forth which isn't helping any of them in the upcoming general election.

I don't see any scenario where it isn't Donald Trump, and Hilary Clinton as the Democrat.   That being said it is too important of an election to have Hilary win the presidency, she should be in jail (IMO) and not running for Pres.
