Dead Weight..

Quote:Lol o you one of those??? (side kick)
The fact that today people don't care about speaking in a manner that makes them worthy of listening to makes me cringe.

Kids today.....

Yes... I'm a grammar nazi. Especially when people misuse "there" "their" and "you're" and "your".

And even more so when someone says that they could care less.

Essentially, you're trying to say you don't care... by saying you do.

You see... if you couldn't care less, well you wouldn't care at all.

And if you could care less... well, there's room for less caring, which means you care.

So...

you're dumb?

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Quote:Its about that time of the year to start cutting some of the dead weight off the team...Who are your dead weight players? Some of those players imo are Gerhart,Henne,Pierce,Evans,

Gratz,Branch just to name a few....
Gerhart, Gratz, Clemons, Beadles. Branch is at the end of his contract so just don't resign him. And Henne...meh, he isn't star material, but he can hand the football off as well as most backups, I guess.

Quote:First time he has to break on the ball he dislocates his knee again.

Edit: And he'd still be better than what we have.

you're probably giving him wayyy too much credit. Oh wait... Ok, nevermind. Innuendo.

I'd say pretty much the entire 2013 draft.

Joeckel

Cyprien

Gratz

Sanders

Denard Robinson

Josh Evans

Jeremy Harris

Demetrius McCray

I know some of them are already gone, but when you see Caldwells/Bradleys first draft it looks pretty lame.

Quote:Lol buddy i could care less ... And whose to say your logic is right... Anyways instead of trying to be a smart ... Tell me who your dead weight players are ? If that makes sense to you..
Common sense tells me my logic is right! Am I the only one reading what I typed? Lol. Trying to be smart obviously evades you, for me it's a way of life. As of right now, none due to the fact there's no point in cutting anyone till camp. Did this make sense to you? Or how about you tell me how much less you could care?
You either die as a good poster, or live long enough to become the troll.

The 2013 draft for Caldwell was awful but then again after looking through every other teams draft many are pretty similar.

Luckily 2014 was crazily good.

He will probably be cut in camp. I would think we would be adding 2 or 3 DBs in free agency and the draft.
No commercial messages in sigs

Joekel is on the right track. He's the starting LT. Hit.

Cyprien will be much approved in his 4th yr. Hit

The rest are all on the team besides Sanders who looked good but had some personal demons.

And I think Caldwell has learned his lesson regarding Drob.

Gratz is the only true dissapointment.

People whining about the "Whiners"???

Does that make them more whiners than the whiners?

Just a thought on Evans:

I've bad mouthed him plenty and he really does stink at the single-high/center fielder role, but he actually looked pretty good in spot duty at SS or when he comes up in run support.

He's good depth IMO. I would keep him around for depth and potential help in nickel/dime packages with a different/easier role.

Also the guys being named that aren't hitting free agency will mostly get to camp before "earning" their release.

They aren't going to waive many guys still under contract quickly. Especially those drafted by Caldwell.

He's better than Cyprien. He's probably our best Safety at the moment(though I think Sample would have proven better if he would have played more). Think about that for a minute

I will add

Cyprien

Chris Smith

Re Chris Smith:

I don't understand why he hasn't really been given a chance? He's always inactive. I remember during the preseason of his rookie year, he was soooo quick off the ball. Seems like after that, he was relegated to the bench.

I have no faith in any shot-callers in this "organization"
