Family Values Palin Endorses...

#41

Eh, I wouldn't say they've solidified the crazy vote.  There's people worse than Sarah Palin that have endorsed Ted Cruz.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Quote:Her value is she garners evangelical and tea party voters in Iowa. Those voters previously supported Ted Cruz. This strategy paid off, because now Donald Trump has a double-digit lead over Cruz in Iowa since her endorsement. Like her or hate her, the strategy worked.
Bingo.

Quote:As a Ted Cruz supporter,  I'm hoping that Glenn Beck's endorsement of Cruz can help counteract the Sarah Palin's endorsement of Donald Trump and Iowa Governor Terry Branstad coming out strongly against Cruz.  Realistically,  I'm very concerned about where things stand at this time.
Sarah Palin has ten times the following that Glenn Beck ever did.

Plus, Glenn Beck is legitimately insane. I can't believe his personal attacks on Sarah Palin and Katrina Pierson, considering how much he supported BOTH of them not more than 8 months ago.

At one time Sarah Palin had at least ten times the following that Glenn Beck did.  However,   I don't think that's the case today.   Both have lost a sizable amount of their followings since their peak.   But I think the drop is more pronounced with Sarah Palin.

The Iowa polls would disagree.

Granted, Sarah Palin's endorsement of Donald Trump is significant.   Yet,   the change in the poll results are likely a number of factors.

Plenty can still happen in the remaining 8 to 9 days of the Iowa race.

As someone who was once one of Sarah Palin's most passionate supporters,   the results in Iowa make it clear that her days of having major impact amongst Conservatives collectively are over.   I remain disappointed that Sarah Palin endorsed Donald Trump over Ted Cruz but I'm no longer concerned about it.   Glenn Beck and other famous Conservatives that came out in support of Ted Cruz in Iowa did have a collective impact:
