Here is the link to south team http://www.seniorbowl.com/rosters-2016.php?squad=South

Just looked it that roaster and wow, if Dave can get 4 or 5 of those guys

Glad we get an up close look at Oakman and Spence two guys with some questions, I hope Gus and Dave fall in love with them and we can come away with both

Wow.

The Jags are gonna get a great look at some players that fit some big needs.

Jalen Mills, Noah Spence, Sebastin Tretola, Noah Spence, and wildcard Eric Striker are my early guesses at guys they'll take great interest in.

*edit - Glasgow too

Deandre Houston-Carson and Sean Davis are on the south as well. Two underrated safeties IMO.

North has some solid players of need too, but I like the south roaster better

I would put a large sum of money that our second round pick is someone on the south roster.

If I had to pick who I think it would be at this stage it would be Noah Spence.

Spences past is enough to keep him out of the 1st round and Gus will get a first hand look at his character and attiude. I expect him to generate quite a bit of buzz at the Senior Bowl.

Don't see why people think Striker is someone we'd look hard at when we have a much better player in the position he'd play anyway(Telvin).

I dont think he would be viewed as a starter, he wont go until the 4th or 5th at best, every player we draft isnt being looked at to start

Not saying he'd start, just that there will probably more talented players who're a better fit for the defense than Striker would be.

I just like his speed and think he'd be a good utility back-up if he can bulk up a bit.  And, yes I'm thinking fourth round. Not worth anything earlier.  His use as a pass rusher in college is intriguing also even if it's not plug-and-play with the Jags' scheme.

Eh, if I'm taking a flyer on a backup OLB with potential in the 4th or 5th, I'd look more toward someone like Dadi Nicolas from VT.

Really interested in watching Jeremy Cash.  I think Gus will love the guy.  I could see us trading back up into the bottom of the 2nd if he is still there late in the round.  Exactly what Gus is looking for in his SS and I think would be an upgrade from Cyp day 1.

The South defense is stacked.  I can see us drafting a couple of those players

Can someone explain why players from northern schools are on the South team and players from southern schools are on the North team?

He looks like one of the most NFL ready players in the draft.I agree would be a quality pick at the end of round 2.

Except we don't pick at the end of round 2. You better hope he falls to round 3.

I was referring to a trade up but yes that would be ideal.

I'm sure Cash is a very solid player, but I thought they still really like Sample's potential. Between Sample and Cyprien and hopefully Ramsay as the new free safety it seems to me like there are other positions which would be more of a priority in this draft. These include cornerback, linebacker, defensive end and offensive tackle.

Center is a higher priority than left tackle on the offensive line. We have not had a good one since Brad Meester retired.
