Your top 3 free agent targets for Jaguars defense?

Olivier Vernon should be the top priority.

I don't think half the people in this thread watched Mack play much this year. He wasn't much if any better than Wiz (Wiz actually had a really good pass block grade).
If you want to get Mack to opt out of his deal with the Browns you have to get him yet another raise on top of his all time high C salary. Is that what you want to for a C that was just average this year, is over 30, and had a major injury just last year? That's a whole lot to risk just to hope a guy can return back to his 28 yr old form two years off ACL surgery. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Yeah. 22 sacks, 3 picks, 2 TDs, and 4 forced fumbles in 4 years is a "bust".

Quote:why does anyone want Bruce Irvin? Plus you can almost bet he is going to his hometown Falcons.
Hawks fans don't even care if they lose him. The Otto just needs to be able to occasionally blitz and roll to the flats. In a nickel base defense is he really worth it for us?
My top 3 defensive targets who I think will be attainable are:
1. Tashaun Gipson- Need to fix free safety. Can't count on Ramsay being there. Weddle is older than I'd like. 2. Olivier Vernon- Would be good addition. Much better than Branch. 3. Bruce Irvin - Would be upgrade at Otto. Jags then trade back with S.F. (q.b. desperation) if possible and get additional 3rd rounder. 1. Round 1: MacKenzie Alexander if Bosa is already taken (likely) 2. Round 2: Jason Spriggs (left tackle to push Luke Joeckel) 3. Round 3: Carl Nassib - Needs development, but major upside as pass rusher/Leo Best available defensive tackle to plug the middle. We show less advertisements to registered users. Why are people putting Wilkerson? Dude isn't leaving NY.
Gipson, Mack, Vernon.
1. Olivier Vernon
2. Tashaun Gipson 3. Lamar Miller Starting to think we'd be better off drafting a center in the 3rd round. "A man with no sauce is lost.

Imagine a back corps with Miller and Yeldon. Mmm, salivating thinking about it.

He'd start here and split reps with Yeldon.

Quote:He'd start here and split reps with Yeldon. I can't see Dave signing someone to start over Yeldon. Quote:I didnt know that, thanks. I just assumed that with Justin Houston, Jamaal Charles, and Jeremy Maclin all getting paid big money that they would be closer to the cap. Unfortunate for us.It's fine, Gipson is younger and just as good. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:I can't see Dave signing someone to start over Yeldon. If they're better then why not? Yeldon is still on rookie contract, not like he can get mad and leave anytime soon. He'd also still be getting plenty of reps. "A man with no sauce is lost.
<p style="text-align:center;">But that same man can get lost in the sauce." Quote:My Top Three: Interesting take on Jenkins. I like his stats too: 15 starts, 64 tackles, 15 PDs, 3 INTs, 1 FF
