I think some of you guys are giving way too much credit to the Senior Bowl for some of our picks. Sure we coached a few of them but the bottom line is if they didn't have the tape to back it up it makes no difference. What Telvin did on the field at FSU ultimately made him a Jag. Not one game where this staff was working with God knows how many players and probably talked to each of them for 5 seconds, if at all.

Of course it does. However there is another way to look at it. I would rather suck and go to Mobile than suck and not have a chance, so we can thank the Chargers for having a golden opportunity.

I would be surprised if that was a significant factor,  as the Chargers probably will continue to operate out of their current facilities for a while even if they get approval to move to the Los Angeles area.   Like I expressed in the above reply,  I think the most likely reason for the decision is the number of coaching staff changes.   Mike McCoy might have multiple coaching staff openings entering the week in Mobile, AL.

This is a good thing for many reasons, it gives Gus Bradley additional Head Coaching experience (which apparently he needs additional help in that matter), and gives him an inside look into potential draftees prior to the draft.  In addition it aids in the Jacksonville Jaguars branding and he can potentially sway undrafted free agent rookies towards the team prior to negotiations.
