Bob Babich Fired

Quote:  This is the approach Mike Zimmer took when he became Vikings HC.   Zimmer basically said that his skills as Defensive Coordinator landed him the Vikings HC job.  Hence,  why deviate from that.  So far,  Zimmer looks like a tremendous HC,  in large part because of his skills calling Defensive plays.

This sounds good in theory...but I wonder if Gus can handle it.

So, are we officially on the "JDR carousel of firing coordinators"?

I can't see Gus changing defensive scheme.  It will be an interesting DC hire.

Good. Necessary step in getting rid of the root of the problem.

I hope basic tackling technique is taught this offseason. As a rugby player it boggles my mind with how bad the tackling is.

That's a fair question to ask.

I'm not sure of the answer.  Yet,  at least one other recently hired NFL Head Coach now has tangible results with this approach.

Has Todd Wash ever been a Defensive Coordinator on any level?

I don't think we have to worry about waiting to long before Bradley is fired.

Next year's schedule is a beast.

Quote:Personally, I do question Walker, Mallory (ST), and Kirby (RB)
I wouldn't complain if Mallory or Kirby left, but they also had some below average players on their units. Mallory had a kicker who couldn't make extra points, and a punter who out kicked his coverage. Kirby had a rookie running back, a bust free agent backup and an offensive line that was pitiful at run blocking.

Shall we sacrifice one of our very own posters too?

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Doesn't matter who we hire. Nobody is accountable anyway.

Bob Babich would disagree, at least at this moment.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Yes at Missouri Southern State, Nebraska-Kearney, and Fort Lewis College. He was also the head coach at Fort Lewis College.
