No it wasn't. Andrew Suck was bad when he played this season.

This is ridiculous: The article about Drew Brees getting hurt says this will be a road game for the Saints. What was the writer thinking?

If history is any indicator...no.

Quote:It'll be Matt Flynn if Brees is truly out for the season like some are saying. Such a strange year for injuries

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if rookie QB Garrett Grayson was named the Saints starting QB if Drew Brees is kept out of the game.   This would be a good opportunity for Grayson to gain experience.

Sweet, another chance for Gus to blow a golden opportunity.

No way. Why would they start him over Matt Flynn in the regular season? This is not Dallas or Cleveland.

Another chance for JACKSONVILLE to take advantage of an opportunity.

Name one time we've capitalized on an opportunity this year.

Sean Payton knows that Matt Flynn will never be a solution as a starting QB for a large portion of a season or longer.   Being that the Saints are out of the playoff race,  why go with Flynn unless by chance the rookie that the team invested a mid round pick in has struggled in practice to the point that it would be unfair to the other players to go with the rookie if Drew Brees is out?

Because Matt Hasselbeck played? Remember, we could have beaten the same exact team in overtime in week 4.

We lost that game because of our kicker.

Which means the Jaguars couldn't take advantage of that opportunity.
