How good is Colvin?

Colvin was run ragged by Decker, who is a tough matchup but but it was definitely Colvin who lost out to him a good few times.

Decker has been a rather consistent player this season however, so allowing the man six catches and a touchdown is hardly an implication of poor overall play. I still want to see Colvin improve but it's not like Decker made a career day out of that game.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

With a better and more consistent front 7 the Jaguars CBs would look a lot better.

Colvin and House are a good CB duo that would potentially be great if they didn't have to cover for half a day at a time.

Why did they have Colvin going from the slot against the titans last sunday? was he coming off an injury?

Its not the stats but rather how lost Colvin looked covering him. Not too worried though that's to be expected of young corners at times.

Quote:He's been a mixed bag this year. He won the London game for us and has been a terror in blitz packages but he also got abused by Eric Decker in the Jets game.

I saw him trip a couple times that game. He's still learning, still inconsistent. He's getting better each game and it's clear he has the skills to be a cornerstone on the defense.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Colvin is a nickel corner, nothing more... House is our best DB, that is very very sad. But it is also hard to judge DBs when there is no pass rush. I don't care if u had Richard Sherman and Darell Revis, with no pass rush any top 10 qb will pick them apart
