Gus Bradley Is The Perfect Coach For The Jaguars Situation

#41

Gus Bradley is a glass half-full guy because his coaching keeps it half-empty.

Caldwell all but said it, Gus was perfect for this team. Sorry to rain on your parade, but the real coach gets hired later. This guy is just here to play kissy face and be the fall guy.

This actually looks like it could be the case here.

The Jags might not have been very good when Gus got the HC job, but there is actually some real NFL talent on the team right now, albeit young talent.

Gus had a very big opportunity this year to have the Jags at the top of or maybe a game out of first place with the way everything seemed to set up for him, but Noooooooooo, he has them at 0-2 in the division and 2-6 overall.

It looks like he will get the rest of the year to take advantage of yet another big opportunity in front of him, that being one of the easiest, if not the easiest remaining schedule in the NFL, according to the record of the Jags opponents in their last 8 games.

Is Gus the perfect HC for the Jags to take advantage of their 2nd half situation, one of the easiest situations in the 2nd half of the NFL?

His track record says NO, but we will all know in the next 4 or 5 games won't we?

Stay tuned..............................................

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

I can't believe some people are that stupid to believe that.

And could someone please explain to me how that strategy would be An effective one?

It's just a crock of [BLEEP]. No real GM would ever do that.

Last night on Sirius NFL radio, they were talking about how young quarterbacks do so much better when they have stability in terms of coaching. They talked about how well Bortles has been doing and were saying that it would be disastrous to his development to bring in new coaches after this offseason.

Gus is perfect, if we want high draft picks every season.

He will save his job if he wins atleast 4 games out of these last 8. My expectation is, the team will blow a couple of winnable games.

Yep. Those changes in OC sure crippled Bortles and Carr this year.
