The House of Allen

There was no garbage time in the game yesterday. That's just the canned response from someone who demands aggressive urgency for 60 minutes.

Quote:I agree. I really like what I see from Walters. The guy pretty much catches everything thrown his way.

Why wasn't Greene playing yesterday? I thought he was cleared unless I missed something.
He was cleared for practice, but he can't actually play until the Thursday night game against the Titans.

Agreed.  With Greene coming back and Walters doing well, we've got good depth also.  If these guys keep developing, we're going to have one of the best units in the NFL.

If only Lee would get healthy.

I liked the picture of Arob and Revis exchanging jersey's. I think he got some respect from Revis yesterday!

GO JAGS!!

When Lee gets healthy I'd like to see him on punts and 4-5 wide receiver sets. Until he proves he can be counted on, and since Walters has definitely earned the #3.

ARob and Hurns are locked in at 1 and 2 and it's so nice to be confident in our recievers again.

Worst case, with Greene, Walters, and Lee is we have incredible depth.

I'm not even really counting him.  At this point he's just a luxury much like how Blackmon was when there was hope that he could come back, except I'm not sure Lee can be the level of player that Blackmon was.

While I'm stoked that Robinson and Hurns both had strong games yesterday, let's not over-inflate what this was.  Revis was still a shutdown corner, and as mentioned, was running WRs routes for them, and SHOULD have had at least 1 INT.  The man is a monster.

Robinson gained the vast majority of his yards away from Revis on plays where Revis, by design, passed him off to the Safety or another defender.  ARob did make a nice play on the Bortles scramble to get some space for a catch on Revis, but for the most part, he found his success against other defenders.

TL;DR - Revis is still an Island, but ARob had success when against other defenders.

So? Who the hell cares who he got his yards against?

People who are trying to act like Robinson put up 120+ on Revis.

The kid's good... don't get me wrong... but he certainly didn't school Revis as some would have you believe.

On a side note, Revis gets away with murder because of his rep. Kinda like NBA stars and non-walking calls.

Regardless. We haven't had a 1000 yards reciever since 2005.

ARob needs to average 37 yards per game and Hurns needs to average 46 yards per game for the rest of the year to hit that. Considering the weak defenses we play... hell ARob might break Jimmy's single season record (probably not)

So...Blake will probably break our passing TD record (by a lot). Potentially 2 - 1000 yd receivers. Possibly a 1000 yd rusher.

All in their second year.

That was very cool. Props to Robinson, and to Revis for sportsmanship.

Allan Robinson was spectacular. He really competed out there. I thought it was the best game of his career.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

Allen Robinson is on pace for 80 catches, 1414 yards and 12 TDs

Allen Hurns is on pace for 70 catches, 1270 yards and 12 TDs

These are Pro Bowl numbers aren't they?
