Oh come on Kane, I don't remember anyone saying that the win against the bills doesn't count!  

 

Most folks see our 2 wins for what they are, a positive indicator that we are acquiring talent.  Most folks that have an issue with the wins see it as still an issue with Gus not being the best man to get the talent to the next level.

 

But nobody is saying the wins don't count.  You, too, are exaggerating.

Meh.  I can see both sides.  I'm critical of a team who doesn't show heart.  They showed heart while beating the Bills, so I defended their win when others were saying the refs gave it to them on that PI call.  So there is times that I am very positive.  In fact, i've purchased 3 Jaguars hats the last month and a half so it's not like i'm not supporting them. 

 

At the same time, I will criticize a lack of heart on the field.  I also get annoyed by fans who preach positivity and sunsets and rainbows and unicorns while it's obvious that the players are just itching to go cash in the week's paycheck.  I think it goes both ways.  I think fans can be level headed in the way that they criticize, or praise an organization.

If you want positive, give us a win against the Jets. A team that our 4 wr have more yards than theirs. Yeldon run like he did against the Bills. D takeaway, O be aggressive. Not being negative, in games before O becomes sheltered and scared that D will be so prepared for it. But we tend to beat ourselves. So lets be positive and not let that happen.

Most people with half a clue, including those in the media who follow this stuff for a living, are not looking at this Jaguar team as if they're some sort of joke.  That's just the perception of the bed wetting whiners on this board.  The reality is, if you listen to what most analysts who do their research and have a clue are saying, this is a young team that is on the rise with good young talent that is developing.  Only people like you would ignore that because you need to prop up this agenda you have portraying every move this team has made in recent years as the wrong one.  I guess you'll always have Madden to show off your mad GM skills.

To me, its the fact that you could make a better case that we should/could be 1-6 or 0-7 rather than 3-4 right now proves how bad this team is. Sure, they compete with a team down 6 starters and win by 3. They beat another team by 3 who had quit on their coach. A team who was throwing in the towel on their coach lost to us by 3. 3! The fact the Colts game was even close with a backup QB in just shows how bad our roster can be. I want the Jags to win, I do. I want us to be elite, win Superbowls, etc but the fact is this is a poorly coached, yet somewhat talented team. We lose to Carolina by 10, and NE drops 51 on us, Lost to Houston by 11, Houston... by 11. Outside of a garbage time TD we lost to Tampa by 2 scores basically. We are not good. MAYBE the team has turned a corner with this last win, but as I say for anything in life... Prove it, then I change my stance. I would love to be wrong and this team gets on a roll. Go Jags.
