Think your team is hard to watch? Try being a <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/teams/jacksonvillejaguars/profile?team=JAC'>Jaguars</a> fan. Jacksonville is 15-55 since the beginning of the 2011 campaign. Fifteen and fifty-five. <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/player/blakebortles/2543477/profile'>Blake Bortles</a> continues to put up fantasy numbers, leading the casual fan to surmise that he is ascending rapidly. Until you watch <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000559574/Jaguars-Blake-Bortles-is-intercepted-in-the-end-zone-by-Texans-Andre-Hal'>the end-zone interception he threw</a> at the end of the first half on Sunday. Down 10-7, the Jags needed points there. Funny thing is, that wasn't even Bortles' worst throw to the other team -- or even to <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/player/andrehal/2543874/profile'>Andre Hal</a>, for that matter. See: <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000559771/Jaguars-Blake-Bortles-throws-second-interception-of-the-day-to-Texans-Andre-Hal'>This pick-six</a>.

Then I guess we're the best fans in the world.

After all, it's pretty easy being a Pats fan or a Packer fan. But to be a Jags fan? You have to be pretty tough. You have to have real fortitude.

Btw, this isn't rock bottom. That was Gene Smiff, Mularky, and Gabbert.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

Definitely.  Though i must say, everyone with fortitude doesn't use good sense, patience, and optimism.....Just keep on clicking, you'll see.

Win or Lose, the Jags fan is always right.

Comparing Gene Smith/Mularkey with Caldwel/Bradley is like comparing the best smelling turd in the toilet.

What we need is more stability.  I think both Dave and Gus should get extensions this offseason.

Quote:But he was dead wrong about Mallet and BOB, lol.

I remember the BOB hire and he panicked like it would set our franchise back 10 years.

From reading his tweets, he isn't a Bradley fan, lol.

Well it does look like he was right about something setting the Jags franchise back 10 years, it just wasn't the BOB hire, it was the GUS hire.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

It is. But there are some positives that can be taken from it. A Jags fan learns patience, humility, and that it isnt the win or loss that is most important, but the journey. We should all recognize the moral victory that can be achieved if we just hold ourselves accountable to be the best fans that we can be in supporting the team, at a time when we need it the most. Its just a little Murphy, thats all.

We will get THROUGH this! I promise~

I'd rather have Gus Fring coaching this team than Buffoon Bradley.

You realize that his reinstatement could possibly result in the heart attack or aneurysm of at least one, if not more, highly respected moderators, right???

I haven't gone to Jags.com in the past month, and rarely the past few years.

Haven't read a pre, post, lead-up article in ages. I'm embarrassed by my distaste for his pieces, to the extent of missing info about our dear deplorable Jags.
Success is a journey, not a destination.  Go all out Mighty Jaguars.

Sounds about right after watching every single one of those games....

wondering when will the team be good again, if ever...
