Rebel Yeldon

Quote:I think they can be a good duo, but I think Yeldon needs to be their bell cow. Let Denard come in to change up the pace on occasion, but going a couple series with Yeldon and then a couple series with Denard, etc, isn't giving Yeldon a chance to truly get going. Feed Yeldon and this offense should come alive provided their early jitters are over with so we stop seeing easy drops right in players' hands and missed FGs, etc. I noticed the one series on one series off between the 2 backs as well. I thought that was odd. I think the best approach would be to sub in shoelace the way you suggest. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! It's good to see that we agree... but then again, what do kindergardner's know? These are college folk we're talking about.

once the line starts opening holes consistently he will be a beast.

The dolphins run D is good and Yeldon had to earn every yard he got. He didn't shy from that challenge at all.
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
It's easy to look at YPC and say he didn't do great but Yeldon has impressed me a LOT in the first two weeks. He's had 40+ touches on the ball too and hasn't fumbled which is very positive as that was the biggest complaint I saw from Alabama fans.
It goes virtually unnoticed but he blocked really well for Bortles on the long run Bortles had, he was the only guy blocking downfield and earned Bortles around 6 or 7 yards.
He's got such a quick twitch to slip through open lanes thats its amazing to watch.
I really like Yeldon and his style, he cuts amazingly, it's slippery
![]() If we could block better he will be disruptive, Dolphins stacked the box well today and it was really hard for him, but he gained yards in crucial moments with really great plays. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I too likes Yeldon's running style but as I watched him run, he leaves his feet too much. Meaning that his skips and hops to avoid defenders actually slows him down. If he were to Hit It and Get It, he may be more productive early. Now I also eye witnessed him almost breaking ankles and a long one.
NH3...
