Worst division in the NFL?
|
What are the chances of every HC in the AFCS losing their job by the end of the year? I know it is unlikely but wouldn't that be something? I wonder if that has ever happened before.

The AFC South is still the weakest division the leader of the AFC South
Indy Colts with only 3 wins is the lowest, and all 3 wins were against other AFC South teams 2nd place team Texans only beat Bucs & Jaguars two losing record teams 3rd place team Jaguars only beat Dolphins which eventually lead to the HC being fired (when the team did a huge turn around), and the Bills after having like 10 turnovers the 4th place team Titans beat the Bucs in week 1. -------------------------------------------------------- Jaguars are net points -60 at 3rd place...

About the same odds as every team in the division losing a game on the same day the Jags actually win a game with Gus as HC. The odds are very much against it, but it could actually happen because it isn't at 0%, although it is highly unlikely.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
The real question is why this thread title has a question mark where a period should be?
Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! Quote:Peyton must store oxygen in that forehead of his. The Colts have the same record as the Dolphins and Bucs who are both 4th in their divisions.

Just to add a little perspective to this, and I know that each team in the AFCS has a losing record and all of that, but what about the NFC East? I mean, at least this Division has a team with some semblance of stability. You look over there though, not so sure I'd want to trade places with any of them.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!
Easily the worst division in the league. Sad that the jaguars are the most stable franchise in the division, having 9 wins over the last 3 seasons. Everyone else is dysfunctional
No commercial messages in sigs

Everyone else is dysfunctional You say that as if the Jaguars haven't been just as dysfunctional. Going into the season with Myer at kicker has the Jaguars staring at the colts' rear end when the team should be currently leading the division. The messaging coming out of the building being consistent doesn't mean there isn't dysfunction. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:I am so tired of seeing the Colts on top of the AFC South, especially when the Jaguars let them off of the hook. The Jags shouldve defeated the Panthers (Luke Joeckel's fault), they shouldve defeated the Colts (never shouldve went to OT), and they shouldve beaten the Bucs (Defense let up way too much). Luke Joeckel's fault???? So you're saying the Panthers won because Luke left the game at halftime? I don't get that at all. The Jaguars were playing dead even with the Panthers until the pick six near the end of the third quarter, then the game got away from them bigtime, but that was a solid win for the Panthers. I don't see where the Jaguars should've won that game.

Quote:If the Colts were in the AFCN it'd be VERY competitive. Chances are the Browns would NOT be the team leaving that division, and they're just as bad as the Jaguars, Texans and Titans.

The NFC East is clearly the second worst division this year. What surprises me the most is the NFC South who have gone from the worst division last year to being the best division in the NFL at the midpoint of the season. Now granted they play the AFC South this year, but even with that you really can't argue this point. The Panthers, Falcons, Saints and surprisingly even the Bucs have all surpassed expectations. Well not so much the Saints because they started so bad, but after their bad start they've managed to put themselves right back on track to at least meet expectations.

I think what CW probably means when comparing Colts in the AFCN is how they would compete with Cincy,Pitt,Balt. Personally,, I think the Colts would be in real trouble if they had to deal with a division like that (although there would be years that they would be in the mix). Last year vs the Browns,, the colts had their hands full. Luck had to win the game at the very end. They did beat the Bengals in INDY (although,, if you look at the Bengals now compared to last year, they didn't have many of their key components (Eifert, M. Jones, etc.). The prior year in Cincy, Bengals blew them out. Colts got throttled in PITT last season. Anyway,, Colts would have a real problem in that division,, but would still scrape some wins. They'd probably be around a 7 to 10 win team. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:The NFC East is clearly the second worst division this year. It's no coincidence that the NFCS is much better. The 2 divisions they're playing this year? AFCS NFCE Quote:It's no coincidence that the NFCS is much better. Very true. Here's how I rank the divisions in all at the mid-point... 1. NFC South 2. AFC East 3. NFC West 4. AFC North 5. AFC West 6. NFC North 7. NFC East 8. AFC South

Just another "Colts winning the division with relative ease" type of year.
THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. |
