Do you look at the game Sunday against Carolina as a "must-win" for this team?
|
I view it as a must win for the fans. We could use it. For the team, I think they could lose it and still recover. (By recover, I mean still get to the 7 wins that seems to be the going guess on their win total this year.)
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Quote:It almost feels like it to me. Which seems silly in week one. But if any team needs to start the year with a win, it is this one. There seems have some positive momentum coming out of training camp/preseason and there is a sense of optimism around town that I don't remember seeing in a while. A loss would be a real punch in the gut.I agree. I believe a loss would hurt bad.... But... I think we can loose and still not implode. if its a close game and there are no huge errors by our guys
If we can't beat this team at home then there are real problems. They are not a bad team, but nor are they a great team either, they are coming to our house, no excuse in not winning this game. If we don't win this game imo it's going to be a very looooonng season once again unfortunely.

Win games we should and win games we shouldn't.
For a team with such limited success until November for the last 3 seasons, there is no such thing as a must win game. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
It's not a must win but lets put it this way. If this team comes out flat as usual and get's handled tomorrow, it might be time to hit the panic button. I don't expect that and expect a close game. Both team have injuries. Coin flip who wins. This season is all about Blake Bortles and is he the franchise.

Blake has looked fantastic, better than expected
It's the defense and lack of depth that have me concerned

Quote: I've seen teams start 0-4 and make the Playoffs. I'm thinking one even went the distance or close to it. Team. Singular. It happened once with the '92 Chargers. A new head coach and new starting QB got them off to a bad start. The Jags have the same head coach and starting QB as last year. "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?"
Quote:It's a must keep close, if they get blown out then it's gg season. Damn there goes that, we couldn't even put up a double digit score against a suspect team. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
