Switch out Fowler with Beasley and I'd be happy.

It would suck if we drafted Fowler and he busted. 2 top 10 DEs from FL to bust in the same decade on the same team? Yikes.

I'm ok with whoever they decide to draft, but if they take Fowler, I think it will be because Dave had him pegged as the guy the whole time. I just hope we get a consistent play maker for a change.

Fowler won't bust he's nothing like Harvey. Dante is more physical and has great intangibles unlike Harvey. Dante also is more versatile then Harvey or Vic Beasley. Vic is reliant on quick 1st step similar too Quintin Groves in that regard

If Caldwell picks Beasley then I am fine with the pick. If he picks Fowler, I am fine with the pick. If he picks Leonard Williams, I am fine with the pick.

Ideally, the Titans take Leonard Williams and the Jags trade with the Jets for an extra Rd 3 selection. Then whomever is remaining between Beasley and Fowler would be pick.

The extra Rd 3 selection would most likely garner the Jags a FS and either a RB or Slot WR, depending upon who the Jags take Pick 36 in Rd 2.

Gotta give up more than just an extra 3rd for the Jets to move up.

It would suck if we drafted any player at 3 and they busted, no matter what school they went to

Id take Vic over Fowler, Ifo Ekpre over Prewitt,

2nd pick can go a lot of ways but I'm not mad at Ajayi

Love the Xavier Williams pick, I really want him.

Obviously, it would suck if Fowler or any pick at 3 overall was a bust. However, the 2008 draft would be much more disastrous no matter what on so many levels. The Jags traded up significantly to draft Harvey then traded up again in round 2 to select Quentin Groves. I think the Jags only ended up with four or five picks in that draft with virtually nothing to show for it. I think that draft coupled with a few others arond that time are the reason why the Jags are in the rebuilding phase they're currently in. The fact we had to pay Harvey big bucks was also crippling to the team's future. I cringe when I look back at the 2008 and 2011 drafts. If only we could go back in time and re-do those two drafts knowing what we know now...

I really like the players but your draft does not make sense. Why take two LEOs in the first two rounds? Maybe if you took Fowler at 3 and played him at OTTO.

How did we end up with 3 1st round picks from 3 different teams (and a future 1st)?

You start with 2 future picks. I traded down to 5 and took Cooper. I used the extra picks to move up and take Gurley. Then I traded the 2016 1st to get Harold.

I just kept trading back who ever was closer to my current pick and repeated til I had all these 2/3 rounders. Not my personal favorite but of course it was still enjoyable over all. Its crazy they let you do whatever you really want lol.

I once did a fanspeak one where they allowed a free trial of their premium mock draft during last season. Well, they don't monitor it at all. I literally traded our 2015 1st round pick a couple hundred times. I literally made like 250 out of 265 picks or whatever the total was. I would have made every single pick if not for compensatory picks, not being tradable.

I don't know if this is draftteks last 7 round mock or if it will now be daily with the draft so close, either way, updated 7 round draft based off theirs:

Rd 1: LEO Vic Beasley - I'm officially on him over Fowler. Both will be good, but for the LEO role I want Beasley.

Rd 2: WR/KR Nelson Agholor - He is the best option of the WR that would play slot and help the KR game. Him, Lockett and Dorsett all went in round 2, so had to get him here.

Rd 3: FS Damarious Randall - Does have questions, but should be exactly what we need at FS. Very solid for round 3.

Rd 4: RB Duke Johnson - I like the value of getting a very good RB in the 4th round. I prefer an Ajayi or someone like that, but would happily take Duke in the 4th to have more flexibility in rounds 2 and 3.

Rd 5: CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu - Just way too much value here as usual. 1st round talent prior to injury. Will be a top 10 CB early in his career.

Rd 6: QB Sean Mannion - I think he could be a very good developmental QB and solid backup. This allows us to trade Henne, but I won't project the trade in this mock.

Rd 7: OTTO Kyle Emmanuel - I saw one projection with him in 3rd, seems a little high, but makes this good value. He good be a solid OTTO in a couple years.
