Get Murray and then draft Ezekiel Elliot whenever he finally comes out. Elliot will be a beast at the NFL level. We could have a smooth transition from one stud rb to another.

Sounds like we are trying to get Bortles some weapons, now we need to get him a shield.

RB position may be devalued but no doubt Murray would help Bortles. Whether we end up with him or not though we have got to get a tackle and WR.

Issue between #Jaguars and Murray's camp now is, how will they outbid #Cowboys? If they can, looks very good Quote: If it's short term, high money: count me in. More than 3 years would be bad. Quote:RB position may be devalued but no doubt Murray would help Bortles. Quote:If it's short term, high money: count me in. More than 3 years would be bad.. Well as long as it's a front loaded contract it doesn't matter if it's 2 yrs or 6 yrs.
Julius, Demarco, and a decent RT and Bortles has absolutely NO excuses next year.
Quote:RB position may be devalued but no doubt Murray would help Bortles. Whether we end up with him or not though we have got to get a tackle and WR.We need a good RB until Bortles becomes a good QB, i'm sick of slow Toby and D-Rob cant carry the load, and we dont know if we will be able to land a great RB in the draft so go for a sure thing. This is year 3 of the rebuild too many young players on offense as it is. I dont wanna be the 76ers of the NFL they are on a 10 year rebuild lol 3 or 4 year deal, by the time he is done we will know if Bortles is any good or not, if Bortles is great you can find a RB easy

i really didnt expect the jags to pursue a runningback. demarco murray is a really good player though. definite upgrade. the offense is sounding really good with thomas and murray added. blackmon back.
really hope bulaga becomes part of the picture.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
And it really surprises me they arent linked to McCourtey. FS makes Gus' defensive system tick. He would be my number 1 target.

I love Ezekiel Elliott, but unfortunately, the odds of getting him are 1 out of 32. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Sorry guys for having missed so much of the fun...
Let me get this straight... The Jags are targeting.. 1. Julius Thomas - TE - Broncos - reports of his completed contract a bit premature but still on the hot stove 2. Jared Odrick - DE/DT - Dolphins - 5 Tech in case no Leonard Williams - 3 Tech to rotate with SenDerrick 3. DeMarco Murray - RB - Cowboys - 7.5 Mil/Yr the low bar set by Frank Gore Signing Others 4. Brian Bulaga - ORT - Packers - have not seen any reports of Packers re-signing him or an eminent re-signing 5. Devin McCourty - FS - Patriots - Eagles hot for him and so too the Giants, nothing much reported 6. Jerry Hughes - DE - Bills - Bills said to be close to signing but Jags still the top suitor other than Bills 7. Brian Orakpo - DE - Redskins - Cardinals, Bucs, Colts and Jags all want him - is he a backup plan to Hughes? 8. Jeremy Parnell - ORT - Cowboys - assumed backup plan for Jags if Bulaga signs elsewhere 9. Jeremy Maclin - WR - Eagles - Eagles want him back but Jags still in the picture. Did I miss anything? 10. Ron Parker - FS - Chiefs - saw some mention of Jags interest but mostly as backup plan to McCourty All the chips have not fallen into place and when they do there will be a re-shuffling of the deck. Quote:Julius, Demarco, and a decent RT and Bortles has absolutely NO excuses next year.I agree he has to improve over last year, but he's still going to have growing pains even with the talent. Quote: If the Jaguars land DeMarco Murray, it could have a chain reaction with the Cowboys ending up trading for Adrian Peterson. The LeSean McCoy contract with the Bills has re-opened the $ door for at least some RB's. |
