AJ Cann, OG, South Carolina 3rd round pick

I like this pick. Gotta be good up front.

People seem to agree:

Jokel, Cann, Wisenkisiki, Linder, Parnell. I like it. Hopefully Bortles/Yeldon benefits from this.

Sergio Brown is our starting FS

Good pick... BUT Tyler Lockett was there and Seattle just traded half their draft to go up and get him.

No pain, no gain.

We have a history of nailing the mid to late rounds.... And once again I feel good about this pick. Him, Stefan, Linder, Parnell with bowanko for depth... Completely revamped o line, and we needed it badly.

Quote:This pick I love and once again laugh at the smokescreen we like the group we have at the start of the offseason.

Joeckel, Can, Wisenski, Linder, Parnell with Pasturz and Bowanko backing up very nice David very nice.
This.  Is Beadles out the door along with the zone blocking scheme now?

Trade him back to Denver for a 5th.  They need an OG.

The zone blocking stays. Gus mentioned Yeldon as a good fit in our ZBS when discussing the selection.

Quote:Gus just said that AJ was the top player on their board. This sounds like a straight up BAP pick.

Hard to argue. I like the pick.

Grow a pair man.  Ignore them. Sometimes with this franchise criticism is deserved. You can't make everyone happy

There's a bit of competition across the OL... Joekel and Linder are set, but then you have LG Beadles/Cann, C Wisnewski/Bowanko, and LT Parnell/Pasztor

I'm still sad about the Yeldon pick.

They had 11 picks.

Wow.  Thank you Titans.  They take a 2nd team All-Pac 12 OG, and leave us the 1st team All-SEC Cann.  What a blunder.

I forgot we picked up Wiz too.  So by the end of the season Luke AJ Wiz Linder Parnell?  With depth like bowanko beadles and paztor, i really like our OL group now.

Competition only breeds excellence.

We need excellence soon.

There is not a good FS in this draft.

Unless you had WR Jaelen Strong or RB Tevin Coleman (still dropping) rated higher. I can't believe the Texans got Strong at #70. That's even more of a steal than the Titans getting Beckham-Green at #40.

Parnell is set in stone as much as anyone, probably more than anyone.

You don't pay anyone that kind of money to sit.  Now, if he doesn't produce (like Beadles), then we may be drafting a RT next year as well.
