He literally was smoking a joint as he was taking the drug test.

I couldn't agree more.

That being said, I'd still take him in top 10.

Just wow...

Decision will be, is he more like Randy Moss or Warren Sapp and can still play... or not.

Certainly a NO at #3...

I can certainly agree if there's a freefall, but still... we already have one talented guy who's put himself off the roster a great deal of time.  They'll have to do their homework to make sure it's still worth the risk.

It'd be amazing if we got Williams@ 3 and Gregory @ 36. Fingers crossed.

Exactly.  That's more the point I'm getting at.  Smoke all you want, but if you know you have a test coming up and you cant control yourself from smoking then its an issue.  You're either an idiot or not mature enough to take care of it.

This!

After reading about it the first thing that came to mind was this statement above! Unbelievable really.

He  said he last smoked in Dec, which I dont believe, no way it would still be in his system if he was working out and hydrating for 2 months, which makes it worst now you lied and prob smoked closer to the combine, also the guy failed drug tests at Nebs.

I wouldnt touch him until the 3rd round, just not worth it that early with so many other good players at the position

<div>These are just from Rang, but basically encapsulate what a lot of insiders are saying about it. Not a secret to the league, not just a shrug it off few times use, and not the only red flags. Pretty ominous to me.

Based on team feedback I received at Combine, I'm unfortunately not surprised to read Randy Gregory failed drug test.

Among feedback I received on Gregory from teams was that he came off as "having an excuse for everything" and "would be a scary 1st rd pick"

The issue with Gregory isn't a single failed test for marijuana. Some teams will brush that off. Ive been told there are "several" red flags

That goes for any tested substance.

That tweet make me think he's perfect for Goodell's "new" NFL.

Ouch.

That plus the positive drug test could cause him to fall.

He may be one of the guys lingering in the green room in Chicago all night waiting for his name to be called.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

It sounds like it could be a whole lot like Josh Gordon's open letter of denial to me.

i talked about that a few times. if the play wasnt going his way he just stopped where he was, didnt even make an effort.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
