Wouldn't that just contribute to the hottest year on record?

The Chair of the House Science Committee just said Trump is the only source of what is true.

To recap.. The only source of truth is a thin-skinned, pathological liar who flip flops on everything and believes the entire world revolves around him.

Perhaps but in the long run billions would be saved in healthcare, education, welfare and fuel emissions would be reduced massively. Less people > better world.

Regardless of who is in office, this is one of the most horrifying things any elected official could possibly say.

I think I legitimately felt worried for the first time after reading it yesterday.

What's interesting about that, is in his press conference today, when talking about torture, he said he thinks it works, but that he would defer to Mattis on the issue because he knows more about it than he does. Didn't really sound like a guy that thinks it can only be his way of thinking.
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

What does that have to do with Science?

The climate "scientists" torture the data until it agrees to a need for continued funding. So yeah, it has nothing to do with science.

Don't agree? You never did respond to the NASA lie that sea level rise is accelerating when every tide gauge shows the rate has been constant.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to confuse you. I'll use smaller words next time.

Man, that last statements gets to the heart of the environmental religion. All these casual followers are like fools at the so called Women's March last week, rallying to support an ideology that ultimately craves their enslavement and destruction.

You are spreading lies. So is this in all sciences or just the ones your politics don't agree with?

What MalabarJag said is pretty much true.  The global warming climate "scientists" are probably the worst offenders.

Scientists depend on funding to continue doing their research so why would it only apply to climate scientists? And they are only the worst offenders again because their science doesn't agree with your politics.

Academia has become a bit of a progressive echo chamber. The result ends up being that certain ideas are accepted as truth even when there is little to no actual evidence for it. I wouldn't say that applies to all findings but there have been some studies that confirm that this happens. It usually happens more in the social sciences but the hallmarks are there in some of the hard sciences as well.

Edit: When we see taxpayer dollars going to fund shrimp on treadmill studies, don't be so surprised when we start asking questions about where our money went.

Who says that it applies only to global warming climate "scientists"?  My not wanting MY money going to global warming climate change "scientists" has nothing to do with my politics.  Tax dollars should not go to the global warming climate change science religion.  If the global warming climate change "scientists" want funding, maybe they should start a go fund me account.  That way you liberals can fund your fantasy without draining tax dollars for real science.

WASHINGTON, July 29, 2015 — Global climate change will aggravate problems such as poverty, social tensions, environmental degradation, ineffectual leadership and weak political institutions that threaten stability in a number of countries, according to a report the Defense Department sent to Congress yesterday.
