Lol it blows my mind

Quote:Kasich has always struck me as a somewhat moderate guy. What makes him so bad?

He supported George Bush's presidential campaign after deciding not to run for the job himself. No moderate would do that.

His running mate selection was the state treasureer, who wasted her time criticizing Ted Strickland when she had that job. I voted for Strickland.

So, just sour grapes, hmm?

He's a moderate, not a ship jumper. Supporting a candidate in his own party doesn't make a politician a hard liner.

Quote:Speaking of which, maybe he'll come out of the closet now.

If it helps him win an election, he'll do it.   Whether he's gay or not.

I am a Democrat and did not want a Republican in the governor's mansion. It is as simple as that.

Good point. And we know there's not a position Charlie won't assume to get elected.

So that makes Kasich a bad politician?

Quote:True.  And now, we'll see how soon they get fed up with conservative policy.

No way. Now that the House and Senate are in control of the Republicans, Americans now have their country back and everything will be ok.

Quote:Hogan has won Maryland! This is the biggest shocker of the night outside of the Senate race.

Not that big of a shock when O'Malley taxed Maryland to death.  Marylanders were probably afraid Brown would create a device that attaches to your nose to tax the amount of air you breathe.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

I live next to the Ohio border. I work with, and have many friends that live just across the border in Ohio. I also go to school a little deeper into Ohio.

Most people I know in that state like the Governor and think he's done a fine job.

Oh well.  Life sucks for you then.

I guess you could go back to where you came from....oh, wait....yeah, life sucks for you.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

That's the damn truth...... I'm a Marylander and in the last 8 years, they raised or created a new tax 40+ times

Hey, there's still 10 or 12 options to find a governor with a D.

Most of us are fed up, period. With lack of better options we will continue to be fed up because no one is stepping up to the plate on either side that offers anything different/better, and people don't seem to be ready and/or willing for a third party yet.

But yeah, if the conservatives don't do anything worthwhile to get the country going in a positive direction it will be interesting to see how voters react.

As others have stated:

Even though the Right has control of both Senate and House of Representatives now,, POTUS is still Bobama, who'll hold a very large Veto pen.

Congress should be able to get more legislation passed up to the White House. But, depending on any pressure that "may" be put on Bobama,, he'll just veto it.

I expect a lot more of the stalemate to come.

True. I just wish we had folks in office who give a damn about the country and the people instead of the lobbyists and corporations that got them into office. I honestly don't ever see that happening. That shark was jumped a long time ago.

At least we can be sure he isn't shipping them to Mexico anymore.

ITT. Some disgusting people and a ton people that think this "conservative win" is a win a for the little guy/gal. As long as so much money is involved, zero of your interests will be met.
