Fl State v Louisville thread

Quote:As much as I loathe FSU the better team won. Louisville gave up way too many big plays and FSU capitalized. Jimbo has the players and they know how to win.
I agree, and while I am far from a fan, or even liking the FSU football team, I have to give them kudos.

I have always said, and believed that good teams win the close ones. They have done that on numerous occassions this year. Winston wills that team to win.

Not sure how FSU's performance last night was any different than Mississippi State's performance against a mediocre Kentucky team last week.

It proves again there is no dominant team this year.

But really, FSU has a clear path to the Final 4 and that is all that matters.

It's quite simple. When a bottom-tier SEC team does what Louisville did last night, it shows how deep the SEC is. When what happened last night happens in any other conference, it shows how weak the league is.

so the ACC is on the SEC level now because of last night?

after watching FSU the past two weeks.  It's pretty obvious to me that they were a fluke last year and had some senior laden talent paired with that QB.  They have been incredibly lucky this year to still be "unconquered" :puke:

they are getting beat the first round of this playoff thing

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there arent many that would argue Louisville is better than Kentucky.  There is an arguement that Miss St has had a much tougher road up to this point and has stayed undefeated.

If FSU was in the SEC West, I do not think they would go undefeated this year....could possibly have one loss and be in the playoff anyway.

they wouldn't have gone undefeated last year either.  they barely edged out Auburn and needed a fake punt to do it.

This just in: fake punts no longer valid football plays. Badger elaborates at 11.

January 6th was a long time ago. Time to get over it.

they wouldn't get through the SEC unscathed and wouldn't even win the conference.  Auburn at least earned the right to be there.  FSU just had 6 months to prepare for it while Auburn had other big games to concentrate on throughout the year.

they have a clear path to the title every year.  that's why they like being in the ACC.

Search your feelings, badger, you can't do this. I feel the conflict within you. Let go of your hate.

There's a reason that ND chose to use the ACC part time.

Probably the same reason Calipari likes being in the SEC.
