If you actually read the report, you can see why FSU fans defend Jameis and think he didn't rape her. You just listen to what ESPN says, and see that there wasn't an investigation until months later because the "alleged" victim wasn't going to initially press charges, and assume he raped her and that there was a cover up by the TPD and FSU.

If you think the Winston case was handled properly then just throw your keyboard into a river.  It was absolutely covered up without a proper investigation... UNTIL MONTHS LATER.  Is that in the police report?  Is it in the police report that evidence was lost?  Is it in the police report that the officer in charge of the investigation also served as security for Seminoles boosters?  Use your head and stop worshiping that screaming idiot you call a Seminole logo.

One, there's a big difference between punching a guy in the face and allegedly raping her.  You are dismissing the case because it wasnt prosecuted likes it not possible.  It's very possible, and something happened....

Why would the TPD coverup for a player who was a redshirt and 4th on the depth chart at the time of the alleged incident? The TPD doesn't cover for FSU football players. Never have, and they never will.

 

All I'm going to tell you anymore is read the report. If you want to believe a girl who's story changed five or six times over the course of the investigation, that's your business.
